“Both of my nightstands came damaged. Ashely does not allow you to return purchases, they offer to send you new ones IF you go donate them, then get a note, on company letterhead that they were donated, and then submit it to them, thus creating more work for the person who received a sub-par product in the first place. Even without the damage this nightstand is mid at best.”

“This is a beautiful nightstand, and all I needed to do to assemble it was to screw in the knobs in place. Unfortunately, I hadn't measured the space between the nightstand and the new dresser I ordered, so I switched my smaller nightstand that I used as a table for my printer, and I love that it has a shelf for my copy paper and documents, and a roomy drawer. There was one issue with a piece of molding on one of the sides; it fell off, and I had to glue it back on. It looked like it has been previously glued, but it wasn't a big issue; I realize this stand came from the outlet store, so the price was reasonable and it meets my needs.”

“Terrible quality, bad paint job and assembly, scratches and chips, stains in some areas, shelves not properly aligned, and dirty overall (most of the dirt came off, but many stains remained). Purchased a complete Bostwick Shoals queen bedroom set and all pieces were similar quality/condition. Assembled by professional team through Ashley Furniture.”

“This nightstand came with the bottom of the cubby hole flush against one side and with a gap on the other. There were marks on top but they rubbed off without too much difficulty. The instructions for attaching the drawer knobs weren't needed, but were for the wrong product. It's particle board so I should have known, but it still feels a bit flimsier than I expected.
All that said, it's a nightstand that arrives almost entirely assembled and looks flawless from over a foot away.”

“Very well packaged, no damage at all. Completely assembled except for the drawer pulls! I am completely satisfied with the look and size of the stands.
My only complaint is that in one photo you can see a hole for cords in the back of the top shelf. That is not correct, there is no cord access. I would like to have it but is would not be a reason to not purchase for me.”

“We love the nightstand! However we have come to the conclusion we need to buy directly from Ashley. We bought it originally on line, but when it came to us it was damaged. We didn’t even take it out of the box because the huge dent on top (which cracked the top) was way too large to keep. The return was really easy. We called and sent a picture and they arranged for UPS to pick it up. They offered to resend it, but we needed it by the weekend plus we didn’t want to risk it. We went to Ashley’s and they had two on the floor. We took one of them home. We love it!”

“I love this nightstand and the storage options. The drawer is deep enough for bigger items like extra blankets and the open self is perfect for books or other display items. However, when I received this item it was damaged. Not from shipping but for assembly. The drawer wasn’t in working order. There were several staples in the wood to try and bandage the assembly error. Thankfully my husband was able to remove the staples and FIX the drawer properly.”

Not worth the money spent

“This item arrived assembled, and had been out together very poorly - the drawer would not even open and close! It had to be totally taken apart and put back together. It also had gashes and cuts in the wood and marks in the paint. The company was nice to deal with and did rectify the situation - which is why I have 3 stars”

“I purchased 4 of these nightstands. Not to use as nightstands but to use in our walk-in closet. Two on the left side for my husband and two on the right side for me. They look great and really help to keep the closet neat and tidy. My only suggestion would be that the two drawer look to the nightstand would actually have two drawers instead of one deep drawer. I think I could divide things up better that way.”
