“The dresser and additional set pieces are gorgeous, but the top board of the nightstand arrived damaged. The Ashley rep I spoke with was polite and the process to start a fix seemed easy—until I realized what their “solution” actually was.
After sending them pictures, they agreed to send a replacement top board. But instead of sending someone to fix it, they expected me to pry off the old board—secured with wood glue, nails, and screws—then reglue the brackets and attach the new one myself. This is not a small DIY project; attempting it would have likely caused more damage than it had when it arrived.
So here I am, stuck with a damaged piece in a $1,200+ bedroom set I paid using my hard-working money for. I shouldn’t have to do their repair work, and honestly, I’m beyond disappointed.”
