Beautiful dresser but drawers do not pull out fully

“This dresser feels is beautiful and seems like very good quality. It is very sturdy (and heavy!!). I am very happy with it—we got it for our baby’s nursery. Of note, the wicker on the drawers is printed on, not a different texture from the dresser. This wasn’t a big deal for me, but may be for some. Also, the drawers only pull about halfway out before they auto stop, which is the biggest drawback to me about this dresser as it will make it harder to access everything easily.”

“While this dresser looks good from afar and I am ok with it, it’s not as described. There is no textured cane details, the cane is a deal. I thought there would be actual texture so that was a disappointment. The drawers are also quite shallow and don’t pull out very far. Otherwise it seems like a pretty sturdy piece. Had this assembled with white glove delivery. I think I would have paid more for a dresser with real caning.”

Obnoxious Smell!

“Horrible smell due to it being composite (particle board like) material. Ive had it for six days now with the drawers removed to air out/off gas. My fan has been on non-stop, window open too to air it out. Used baking soda to try to get rid of odor. Wiped down all surfaces TWICE with vinegar and water solution and another mix of mint/vinegar/rosemary oil. Have opened up gel odor containers. Looked online to see what other options there are to rid the smell. I would teturn it but I already removed the tags. Its too heavy to move so I would have to pay someone to return it to the store. Odor gives me headaches. Very frustrating. I would not recommend.”

An acceptable balance of quality and annoyances

“Pros: It's beautiful, and mostly pretty hefty and well built.
Cons:
- Both of mine came with damage to the top laminate. It's been sanded off by some abrasion along the top front corner.
- It's all composite wood.
- The Rattan is not real, it's a laminate. Some folks catch that, I missed it. From a distance it looks nice, but when you get close it just makes it look cheaper.
- The drawers are thin and cheap.
- The drawers don't open enough. Note that this is a regulation that came into effect in the US in 2023 (The STURDY Act) to prevent kids from tipping dressers onto themselves, so all dressers have this problem now. I'm glad fewer kids will get crushed by dressers, truly, but we're all doomed to suffer for eternity with halfway-opening drawers. If you're crafty, and bolt it to the wall so your kids survive, you can remedy this with a drill and some screws.”
