“I havent gotten to use the roll slats yet because of Ashley Furnitures poor shipping policy. The headboard and side rails of the bed frame i ordered were on back order. The footboard and roll slats were in stock though, and Ashley Furniture wouldnt hold them for me until the headboard and side rails were in stock and just deliver everything all at once. So now ive had this huge box sitting in my living with the footboard in it since January 16th waiting for the headboard and side rails to be delivered on March 12th!”

“Slats are not solid wood/ Extremely flimsy and cheaply made. The description does not indicate that center support legs are needed and are not included as part of this purchase. Slats are also not standard king width and will not fit a standard king bed (78' wide) only specific Ashley models.
Very disappointed.”

“This item is only useful for bed frames purchased AFTER 2013. This item is not compatible for beds purchased PRIOR. The website has a revision date of 2010 (which is what I needed). When the item arrived, the item itself has a revision date of 2013 and does not fit my bed frame.”

“When I received the rails it was missing parts, the legs were missing. I called customer service and it says “We are unable to answer your call right now” and hangs up. That’s not good customer service! Not only that but the frame we got had tears in the leather which is fine I can deal with that but the rails don’t even work with the frame because the wood on the side that the rails attach to didn’t reach all the way to the end of the bed so the rails just fall through. Very disappointed and I can get ahold of customer service for a return or just to revive the legs for the rails. I wanted to just return and get a box spring instead. We have purchased our sofas, dining sets and all beds from Ashley. Looks like I will be taking my business else where.”

After my hubbie figured it out, we bought 1 inch square posts from Home Depot and finished the job.”

“The description states that you can turn any bed into a platform bed. This is untrue. The frame I purchased, along with this, was unable to be turned into a platform bed according to the gentleman who assembled it. Unless your frame has the wooden hangover pieces on both sides of the two bed rails this will not work. I will be returning this product. It would have been a great product, however, the description is misleading.”

“I wouldn't purchase this unless you already had a king frame from Ashley. The product was a 1/2 inch too wide for our king bed frame. When I realized it wouldn't fit without forcing it, or trimming it down and weakening the structure of it, I called asking about returning it and discovered that I'd be charged with the full shipping cost. At 55 pounds, the return shipping cost would be higher than the original $100 cost. So anyone in South Florida that would like one for a fraction of the original cost, you can find one of these on Facebook Marketplace.”
