“Cons- Broken pieces to the head board. Inefficient customer service. Resolution to problem. Local store will not help with problems because it is an online only item. Pros- Great idea Attractive bed Fast delivery Price I know, I know. You get what you pay for. I like the bed, now that it is put together, but I will never order online with Ashley Furniture again. When the bed was delivered we started out on the wrong foot. There were broken pieces. I called to get a replacement part and the store cannot help because it was bought online. Okay, I’ll call customer service. The first customer service representative never put in a ticket for my problem. I called 2 days later to check the status of the replacements and they didn’t know what I was talking about. Put in another ticket, this representative did not ask for enough information or pictures. I get an email 3 days later asking for more explanation of the problem. I send more pictures, 2 days later I get another email asking for more info. We are now a week past delivery with big ol’ boxes laying around the house with a kids room in limbo. I send more info and the finally approve the replacements. I am informed we are getting the whole second box replaced. Not the two pieces I need. Now I have pieces to a partial bed laying around my house and will have to pay to dispose of them. Long story short, I’m not saying don’t buy it, I’m just saying beware. Hopefully this all made sense. I am submitting this on my phone.”

“First off, we received the bed with a few broken pieces. Ashley customer service was excellent and took care of everything very quickly. And as I said, this bed is REALLY well done! There's quite a bit of assembly, and it's all done with hex head machine screws and wood screws (they don't mention drilling pilot holes for the wood screws, I do recommend that - about 1/4 in deep). The machine screws fit into pre-inserted threaded metal fittings in the various pieces, and I mean they fit. When you put a large piece onto a half completed assembly and line it up, the holes are all right where they're supposed to be - the screws thread right in! I've assembled a lot of furniture and been massively frustrated by things that aren't designed and built well. This bed is very solid, very well designed and executed, and we're getting another one because we like it so well. Also, the storage, the sliding doors, the outlets and USB ports - we're very happy and impressed. Especially for the money. We looked at something similar from another vendor for $2500, and we like this color better as well.”

“SO MANY BROKEN PIECES The ordered arrived quickly which is fantastic. However the headache began once I began to assemble the bed. There are so many broken or cracked pieces to the bed. I can’t even put the doors onto the shelving because of the cracked tracks. When I called Ashley customer support they were no help at all. They quoted nearly 2 weeks just to get information on what my next step is. This is not included, fingers crossed, the replacement pieces for all the broken parts. This is the WORST customer support I have ever experienced. If you want a bed frame you can use within two weeks of its arrive then DO NOT waste your time on this one.”

“This bed was delivered with 2 components broken (smashed panels). I immediately filed a claim. I sent pictures and once the third box arrived, the part numbers. Since then, I have not heard from anyone to resolve this. I called Customer Service many, many times and cannot get them to even send me an email detailing everything I have done and what Ashley will be doing next. This is not good for repeat business. I literally cannot set up the bed -- and I had to disassemble my daughter's old bed in order to make room for this one. This is unacceptable. I would return, but they have made that process just a bit too much: original box, packed with packing materials, and -- THEY WILL INSPECT TO CHECK FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE. I imagine they could/would deny my refund if they suspect it was damaged due to any fault along this process. Horrible service. My case number is in the review title.”
