“This is so terribly made that it goes beyond what is acceptable to sell.
Nails were sticking out from the head board. The finish was uneven and patchy. The pieces did not match. Screws were missing. The longest slat was made of some strange composite. The edges were dangerously rough And the “branch design” did not meet with the other areas. Yes, it is not wildly expensive, but still, it is unacceptable to sell something that is nearly junk. Ashley Customer Care was unbelievably rude and officious. It bordered on harassment in the manner that they dealt with the issue of their poor merchandise: countless emails were exchanged. When I did get a response from the “ Customer Care” ; even though I told them that I did not have the faulty bed frame packed to ship back, they sent FedEx to my home the next morning. Who in customer service behaves like that? Ashley offered me a discount to keep the frame and a percentage off on any further purchases. I literally tossed the bed frame out and as far as a discount on future purchases: I would never do business with this company again. The quality is beyond poor and the company ethics worse.”

“I've had this bed for around 4.5 months now, and I have been struggling with the center support legs. They are too long and inadequately fastened to the center support beam, so when you are in bed, the legs slide off of the floor. The metal threaded inserts in the support legs broke off entirely. I am now having to cut 2 inches off of the legs and reattach them to the center beam with metal brackets I purchased from the hardware store. This should not be necessary.”
