Amazing mattress

“We had a 3 year old tempur-pedic mattress that just wasn't working for us anymore. We slept on a 20 year sterns and foster at a guest house and found it to be way more comfortable. We took the sheets off and took pictures of the labels. We went and found almost the same model in the store, so we decided to order this set and try it out at home. What a difference! This new mattress sleeps amazingly well. I wasn't sure it was going to be worth the price but I'm super happy we bought it.”

“We had purchased our Stearns and Foster mattress from a popular mattress store. Sadly, they misinformed us about the base and did not include it in the purchase, telling us to use our old box spring. After checking on the S & F website, we decided to purchase the base separately. It made such a difference! I love the look of it--no more ugly box spring showing beneath the covers and no need for a bed skirt. It provides great support for our new quality mattress! ”

“Wanted a normal height foundation for my new Estate Pillow Top and this fit the bill. I love that the fabric matches and gives the whole bed a polished look. The mattress is very thick so with the low 5” foundation it makes the bed a comfortable height for getting in and out - not too high. I have a lovely mahogany old fashioned heirloom wooden bed frame and headboard, not a modern platform bed., and the pair works perfectly.”

Could be a little better

“We purchased the split system as that was what we had with our previous mattress and felt it would give a little extra support in the middle. When pushed together, the frame is not as wide as the mattress, so we had to pull them apart so that each side was even with the mattress. They need to relook at the sizes of these foundations to ensure they are the right width for the mattresses. Other than that, they look nice and seem to be well constructed.”

“My husband and I have purchased Stearns and Foster mattresses and box springs since the early 1980s. Our 1st mattress and box springs lasted 20 years. When we purchased our 2nd, it was during covid and we blindly bought the Reserve Hepburn Plush mattress and box springs. I wasn't as thrilled with this purchase. The plush really wasn't firm enough, and the box springs fabric on the bottom kept shedding. I finally put a fitted sheet on it to keep it from shedding. Our 3rd purchase was just recently, and we love the mattress and 9 inch box springs, but we do have a 4 poster Harden bed that we were concerned that the height would hinder our ability to get into bed easily. So, we purchased another foundation-- the 5 inch foundation is awesome, and we currently have it with the Hepburn mattress. Someday, we might use it on our bed when we are unable to crawl into the higher one. The company that delivered the foundation took the old one that was shedding, so we didn't have to worry about what to do with it. I just love my Stearns and Foster mattress and foundation. I sleep better at night, and it's just perfect.”
