Cheap quality and caution about TV fitment

“I was a bit surprised when the item arrived as to how cheap the materials were. The entire unit is made of particle board and cardboard with a cheap veneer. The surface the TV goes on is flat and printed on, nothing like actual real wood. However, the use of these materials made the pieces quite light and very easy for two people to move around.
The cheapness of the materials isn't as obvious at a distance and it actually does look quite nice, identical to the pictures in the advertisements.
Assembly was very easy and consisted of more or less adding the door pulls and a few screws for the top piece.
Notably though, the height of the top piece is quite lower than it needs to be and this impacts the size of the TV that can be fit. I have a 65" which needed a 3rd party stand to reduce the height of the TV to fit. It just barely fits height wise. While the dimensions of the stand width wise will fit a 70" TV I don't see it fitting vertically with the top piece.
Overall I'm mostly happy with the piece and it makes a statement in our room.”
