Slat support material is a flaw design.

“The slats that go across for support and the material that the slats go through are a terrible design. To much space between slats causing the material that the slats in are in noisy. You can not just have a top mattress for this foundation or you are not going to get a good nights sleep because every time you move it will sounds. I have not had a good nights sleep since having this bed. Now I have to go spend more money to buy a bunkie board so the bed want sound like I have leather pants on sitting on a leather couch.”
