Broken footboard + No resolution given

“I purchased this bed in the king size along with the matching tall dresser and 8 drawer+door dresser back in September of 2020. The wood is pretty solid and the frame is sturdy. The reason for only giving 3 stars is because the wooden piece between the two drawers on the footboard cracked very early after my purchase. We called to let Ashley Furniture but unfortunately because we did not buy the insurance, they were unwilling to replace the piece even though it was within the first 6 months after purchase. Since then, we have decided to take our business elsewhere when we needed to replace our dining set and living room set. I love the design but I unfortunately had a bad experience and wanted to share it with future buyers. The only reason I came back to the website after all this time, was to see if they have details of this bed frame verifying whether we are able to connect the headboard to a metal bed frame (no luck). I hate to get rid of the whole bed frame because I love the design.”

Buying a second one in King. I Love it!

“I have had my Queen set for six years. We are turning an office into a bedroom and we now want a king. I am buying the same bed in King and moving Queen to second bedroom since we have the dresser and nightstands. It is HEAVY and well made. I love it. I was hoping to find a less expensive bed that I love but I can’t. Same bed in both bedrooms. Yes! I love it that much. I know you will too.”

Overall good, but….a couple of concerns.

“The bedframe looks great. However, it took 6 months to have it delivered, vs the expected delivery of 3-4 months. Although the headboard and footboard are heavy/sturdy, the slats are unfinished, look cheap, and the center posts that the slats bolt onto are of questionable quality. This is the first bedframe I have owned in which there was not a center bar or a board connecting the headboard and footboard. I also bought the matching nightstands and the USB ports one one of the stands went out in less than 4 months. Having to go through warranty.”

Flimsy

“It is really beautiful but that is where the positive ends. The slats are so flimsy and because of the drawers you can’t use a metal bedframe instead of the slats. I am definitely having buyers remorse.”
