“Do not do business with Ashley Furniture (especially the store in OCALA, they do what they can to take advantage of you). On February 15th I got the majority of this bedroom set delivered to my house; bedframe, dresser, and two-night stands. Upon arrival I noticed some issues with the furniture and clearly stated to the delivery guys what the issues were, they took pictures which I am assuming was to show proof of drop off only. Within the hour I called the Ocala store stating that my furniture arrived damaged, they gave me the number to call in order to file claim, which I did immediately. Today, February 22, the tech guy came and fixed 1/3 damages as the other two were issues with the wood. He was from corporate, extremely nice but could only do so much to help. We were told that there wasn’t a way to fix the other two issues because essentially, bad pieces of wood were used and they will not cover this. I have also called the store (February 21) to state that I would like to return my furniture, because of it not only being damaged, but also false advertising on their part but was told “it is in your house it is yours, no returns.” It was stated very rudely, Hannah should not be in customer service. I have an understanding of how lights can change the color of things, but being that I am a photographer I have blue hue lights which I used to look at the furniture after, and in no way was the furniture white like in the store. It is YELLOW. I then proceeded to go back to the store and their furniture is labeled WHITE and looks white; there is also not one sign that states they have a “no return” policy, and it was not said at the time of purchase. Being that I work in customer service I come in contact with people DAILY and know to share that Ashley furniture is a business to stay away from and to spend money elsewhere, they are shady and will not help you when the issues are their fault. I am now left with furniture that is not what I wanted in color, white and yellow are not alike, and damaged that they will not fix. So much for calling within 72 hours of delivery and having a warranty on it. I have also filed another claim with corporates customer service because I don’t want to be paying over $3,000 for something like this, to my understanding as of now someone is deciding whether or not I get to return furniture? Not very helpful.”

Beautiful

“My heart was set on the grey color but after seeing it in person it was more green then grey, so we went with the White. It's beautiful. My only complaint is the slats that we had to pay extra for were complete junk. They didn't fit right and we had to do our own customizing to it to make it work. The guys that delivered it had no idea how to put the Slats in and my husband and I did but it was a pain. Save your money on that and either buy your own or make your own. Other than that it's a beautiful set.”

Broke first night.

“There is only three slats to support a king bed. Supports for the slats are only 2x2 wood. Center support broke 1st night. Can’t sleep in bed. Have to wait 10-15 days for replacement parts. Then I have to schedule the repair. I complained enough that someone is coming in a week. So, I did a temp fix on my own so I could sleep in it. Otherwise the furniture seems to be quality.”
