Disappointing platform

“I bought the entire bedroom set with a king platform bed. I am a regular Ashley customer and was surprised and disappointed with the quality of the platform bed. It squeaks like a 30 year old bed and sags in some areas. My last Ashley platform bed used pine platform slats and was amazingly solid and sturdy. This bed has thin plywood instead of pine slats to support the mattress. On top of the slats, one of the drawer knobs pulled off. It has since been replaced. I am now going to have to spend an additional couple of hundred dollars to replace the subpar slats that were provided. I will say that all of the pieces with the exception of the platform support slats are high quality.”

“My husband and I were sleeping on a small full size bed for years and finally decided to upgrade to a king. This bed looks so nice. We received it in the mail in around 2 weeks. It took us around two hours to put it together. I definitely recommend this bed.”
