“We love the look but it is so squeaky. It lasted about 2 years before the squeaks really kicked up and anytime you move while sleeping it will disturb your partner.”

“The rails/mattress support is of such a poor quality that I constantly have to fix the slates. This problem began when I initially bought the bed and have continued 6 years later. I hate this bed and am looking to replace it ASAP.”

“I purchased this bed set with two side tables, a chest of drawer, and a dresser several years ago. I assembled the bed myself which wasn’t difficult. The bed is heavy (300 pounds) and I used a box spring and mattress which makes the bed surface higher in elevation. I purchased a memory foam mattress which was around $1,500 because I can get up in the middle of the night and it doesn’t disturb my wife. I love the bed and furniture and will never replace it.”

“We bought this about a month ago. It was delivered on time and in good condition with no scratches. We like the two storage drawers in the front. We had heard we might need extra support (such as a bunkie board) under our one mattress since we no longer use a foundation mattress but, so far, we do not feel extra support is necessary.”

“We bought this bed and complete set to go with the bed for our new home a year ago and are starting to look for new bed; such poor and cheap quality of support system and hard to good night sleep; wish we had seen the other reviews before we bought this excitedly for the new home. Otherwise the look of the bed with storage system is nice!!”

“I purchased this bed because I absolutely fell in love with it in the show room!! I then read the reviews after buying it (LOL) I probably should've did that first. I've had this bed for about three months and so far not only does it look visually beautiful but I haven't had any problems with it . I will say that the support beams under the bed are a complete joke. And the slats underneath could be thicker and made of a better wood. I'm sure in the future hopefully not too soon they will snap. However having a handy husband does work. I will add my husband and I are not two light people either. So again the bed is absolutely beautiful and so are the night stands it does scratch very easily and the support slats and beams are not the greatest. If Ashley's were to replace the slats with better ones this bed would be 100%!!”

The footboard dimension is not an installed dimension.
The measurement includes the draw depth, which is incorporated into the rail length and not measured in addition to the overall length.
This bed is not 99" long, but perhaps as much as 18" shorter.”

Sturdy Bedroom Set, Looks Great!

“I purchased this bedroom set (queen sleigh bed, dresser/mirror and nigthstand) in March of 2011. The furniture is still going strong. The bed is very sturdy, no squeaking or looseness and I have only bothered to check for loose screws 2x over the years. The finish has not faded and all it needs is a quick furniture polishing occasionally. I'm very happy I bought this set, it was a stretch of my budget at the time but well work it.”

Very nice set

“I was deciding between the Porter "Panel" or the "Sleigh" with storage and Im glad i went with the storage version. Very nice, solid and strong. Not one squeak or any movement at all from this bed. Looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. The only downside to the dark wood finish is it shows dust and finger prints but that part of it.”

Excellent bedroom set!!!

“We just had this set delivered yesterday. The movers did a fantastic job and had everything put together, where I wanted. The set is definitely worth every penny. My husband and I had lost a lot in a tornado in 2011. This was the first time we splurged on ourselves in years. The drawers are so nice and sturdy and there wasn't a scratch or mark on one single piece. We purchased 2 night stands one chest dresser and bed. Love it!!!!!!”
