Beautiful but flawed design

“The look and feel of this bed is great, it's exactly what I was hoping for. It surprisingly high up; this is my first king size bed and this feels lush but also practical.
Unfortunately there are two significant problems in the design of this bed. First, it only come with 3 slats to support the foundation. These slats each have a foot in the middle to provided additional support, but the quality of both the wood and the feet are so low that, for me, all 3 feet immediately failed as soon as I had built the bed. I pushed the bed just a few inches and the the feet all ripped out. Without these feet in place, the slats were bending nearly to failure without any weight on the bed. I had to cut my own slats to add more support and then craft replacement feet that wouldn't fail.
Once this was addressed, this bed has been great. But there are fundamental design issues with this bed. I'm confused that no one else seems to have encountered these issues.”

“I'm really disappointed. The side broke and the support slats fell through. Both sides of the bed frame buckled and cracked. And neither the store or corporate want to honor their "limited 3 year warranty" that they provide for every item sold. All I do in my bed is sleep. There's zero reason it should've broke like this. It's cute though I guess.”

“I fell in love with this bed when I saw it on screen, once i assembled it I realized I needed a Box Spring, I don't know why I thought I didn’t need one. Newby mistakes, I guess. The assembly was easy and instructions are easy to understand. I love my bed just one thing to make sure of is to make sure you get the BOX SHRING!”

“It does require a box spring. The frame is exactly like it looks in the picture, it’s heavy and great quality. Assembly was pretty easy it took about 30 minutes for two people to put it together.”

We love the warm tone of the Acacia wood and it is pleasing to the eye with a taller headboard than most other beds headboards of similar style. Our layers of pillows look nicely framed. “I purchased the queen bed and dresser, and all I can say is that I love it. The bed doesn't move when you shake it, so I love the quality, and the wood is just a beautiful color that is super neutral, with a hint of gray. I like how the bed doesn't sit high and it doesn't scratch easily, which is a bonus for me. I feel like it's also a style that I would be satisfied with for several years, and it won't give out either. I seriously recommend this set.”
