“They forgot to include the three vertical supports that are supposed to attach to the three horizontal bed slats. So, I had to go out, purchase wood, make three vertical supports and attach them to the three bed slats. It took me about an hour to do so, but it did the trick. I reached out to Ashley, and all they were willing to do was credit me $5.00, which is more than the cost of materials, apart from my hour of labor. Be prepared to make these vertical supports because they are necessary to the strength of the bed.”

“DO NOT BUY - it is missing parts and it will forever be missing parts. I’m left with a bed that cannot be fully assembled and then a replacement with the same parts missing. Ashley doesn’t seem to understand how to solve for this and yet, they are still selling a bed that cannot be fully assembled. The missing parts aren’t in their “system”. Also, NOTHING is labeled on the parts, which I’ve mentioned but again, it’s not corrected seeing as though the same issues are present in both the original order AND the replacement order.”

“I bought this bed in twin along with the mirror and dresser for my little girl. The bed has 3 thin slats (one installed has a minor crack already) with no additional support for those. We were told to either buy a low-profile box spring, a bunky board, or (and the options we went with) a "better than a boxspring" frame. I would recommend that 100% if you are looking at this bed!”

“Pretty sturdy bed though some between the rails and headboard if you're moving/manipulating the bed at all. Not sure how well it would hold up if your kids are rough, jumping up/down on the bed, moving it, etc. Note: rail slats needed and the standard twin size including ones by Ashley are too small by about an inch so you'll have to have them cut.”

We are very happy with the furniture, especially the beds, look good, nice finish and easy to assemble. If there was a way to put rollers on the bed feet, would be nice for moving the bed around on the carpet.”

“The beds arrived in damaged and assembled with a few simple hand tools. When assembling the headboard and footboard I added a seam of Tite bond glue to make sure neither piece will never wobble. Good looking solid beds! The 3 slats to hold the mattress are cheap pieces of plywood, you need to throw them away and cut at least 6 slats made of hardwood to safely support your weight.”

“Bought two for my 6 and 8 year old. It comes unassembled between the legs and the headboard and footboard so you should glue them as well as use the metal bolts. Finish is good, just prepare to have some wood glue and let them set for a day so the glue can set. Looks great and very sturdy.”

“Pros: Great bed, I needed to get my twins a new bed and they saw this one and both wanted it. Was easy to put together and looks great. Really happy with the beds, good quality. Cons: I had a 20% off purchase, which would of really come in handy since it was school time and with all the other purchases I had to make, I thought I could use the extra % off. I even emailed the company in regards on how to use it on line cause when I tried, it would never accept it. I got 2 email back telling me the set up for using it and again I tried, but was never able to get it to go through. So I was disappointed with that process, but I needed to get the girls their beds so I went ahead and purchased them. My loss, but the girls gain, they love their sleigh bed.............”
