“Recently bought this whole bedroom set - it does LOOK amazing. But there are only 3 support beams underneath to support a box spring and mattress and they are all in the middle of the bed frame. None near the head or the foot of the bed. So when you place a box spring and mattress on the bed frame, the head and the foot of the bed sink down, leaving your torso to be higher than your head and feet when you lie down. There is no place for slats or to add more beams.”

“We've had the bed for about a month now and still really like it. The bed looks wonderful and was relatively simple to assemble. The headboard is a little less stable than one would hope for but it does fine. Nice alternative for an all wood look without the all wood price.”

“I purchased this bed and then thought I should have gotten a darker headboard. When it was delivered it looked perfect against my white walls. My bedroom is small and the lighter color doesn't overpower the room. It blends well with my beach themed bedroom”

Worst customer service

“I have purchased many furniture items from Ashley. The products are great most of the time, but this order, I experienced the worst customer service ever. Ordered this bed in Sep 1st, received email saying delivery in Sep 17. When the date comes close, received an email saying Sep 26 delivery instead. Then on Sep 25, received email saying Oct 2 instead. Calling customer service inquiring about why it keeps being pushed back and I was told "I don't know, it is scheduled for Oct 2".
The bed came finally, then I found out there is no slat for it. I didn't see boxspring in the picture so I thought it doesn't need one. I then checked description and sure enough it says box spring is required, so it was my fault for not checking description. I contacted Ashley customer service to return, they asked a bunch of questions and said they couldn't help and transferred me to a different team. Again a bunch of questions, but sorry that team couldn't help either. I was then provided a phone number for Ashcom something who is responsible for online order. Called them and they said I can only return if there is defect on item within 3 days of receiving. So basically no return option at all after an hour calling multiple teams. Maybe this is the last time I order from Ashley.”
