What I wish I knew

“So the first thing I wish I knew was that there only 3 support rails for the whole bed. They are more "centered: towards the middle of the bed. I did not see anywhere in the description (I may have missed it) the you have to have a foundation. It does say "mattress and foundation/box spring available. So with no foundation the mattress I purchased sags at the head and foot of the bed. My son has a bed and there are like 12 wood slats providing the support for the mattress so I was thinking the same. No foundation or box spring needed. Again I probably should have dug deeper.
For me it was simple to put together. Took about 30 mins by myself. One thing that may be of use. Attach the cross rails (side to side) to the brackets first. If you attach the brackets to the side rails it makes it more difficult to attach the cross rails.
So plan for a foundation.
Get help to move when assembled
Enjoy the bed.
I love it and our daughter loves it and at this point I would absolutely buy it again but I would know that a box spring or foundation is needed.”

“Purchased the full size and put together myself (and I’m not a builder by any means). Instructions were easy to follow. The only thing I wish was better is the headboard is a little flimsy. I’m sure if moved down to the lowest level, it wouldn’t be as bad. Overall, satisfied with this purchase and looks beautiful!”

Beautiful Bed with Some Flaws

“This bed is beautiful. Its not made cheaply but the way its designed could cause some damaged if not careful when moving it. It took me 2.5 hours to put together by myself (twin bed) as the directions were not clear and screws not labeled differently in the instructions.
Also, if you aren't planning on using a box spring you have to drill new holes in the headboard in order to lower it so there won't be a gap between the headboard and mattress. Some type of base will be needed for the twin bed as there are only three support beams.”
