worst furniture shopping experience I've ever had

“I never leave reviews, but my experience with Ashley online and purchasing this bed for my daughter has been the worst furniture shopping experience I've ever had. The bed was delivered damaged, both the footboard and the headboard. I immediately called to let them know - I was told that the footboard could be sent out asap, but the headboard would have to go to the parts team for review. The icing on the cake was that they wouldn't accept the broken stuff back, I had to dispose of it myself. My trash man isn't going to take a queen sized bed frame, it doesn't fit in my car, I'm at a complete inconvenience to get rid of it now. The new footboard showed up within a couple days but radio silence on the headboard. I get a random email saying I've been given a $150 credit back with no reason, no explanation. I reach out again, and there was no order submitted to the parts department at all for it - so did they give me the credit instead of the part and I'm stuck with half of a bed and a whole broken one? So she sends another parts order over and again, radio silence. I call today, starting again from scratch to have her tell me they can't give me any shipping date but would likely be shipped by the 30th but that is just an "estimate", two weeks from the initial delivery. I can literally order the bed online again and have it delivered in 3 days. My daughter's mattress is on the floor and I'm completely baffled at the incompetent and ridiculous process Ashley has - inconveniencing the customer in all areas on a $400 bed. I get better customer service from AMAZON and I expected that Ashley would be a better all around option for purchasing furniture.”

“Beautiful and sturdy queen sleigh bed at a great price. Make certain to tighten all nuts/screws well and you will have a beautiful piece. It is not solid wood (and I wouldn't expect it at the price), but it is still very nice.”

Cheaper quality than I expected!

“I bought this bed from their website first. But there was a big hole at the footboard. So I requested it to be returned. Then I ordered this bed,matching dresser and night stand with one of the Ashley Furniture store here. But it still have some little scratches on the footboard and dresser. The quality for this set is very low, not like normal Ashley Furniture'quality. But I have to said their customer service is the best. They always responded my call quickly and tried their best to solve the problems.”

Decent bed

“We ordered this bed and the black version
Both Bed were easy to put together and overall are good beds.
However,On the footboard of both beds there was a board that is attached at the bottom and the board was broken at three of the screwsamd when you try to make new screw holes the wood splits so i am afraid that if we ever move and the bed needs to be dismantled the footboard may not survive.”
