“So we have had this Sectional for a number over 5 years now. We replaced the seat cushions, purchase Heavy Duty Couch Cushion Support Board to help stop sagging. The back cushions are not removable, not easily cleanable and the fabric rips apart at the seams after a few years. Trying to figure out how to repair that.
If I could get a different fabric material, I would.”

Our couch is less than 3 years old and the back seams are busted and the stuffing is falling out, the fabric is also pilling and the cushions are losing support. I am very disappointed as this couch is a very beautiful couch at first and was very comfortable but for the price it just is not holding up how I would like it to.”

“If I could give this couch zero stars I would. Truly the worst couch ever. Uncomfortable and the fabric doesn’t last. The couch has holes in the seams because of the poor quality and the cushions lose their shape so easily.”

“Don’t walk, run away from this and all Ashley sofas. I hate EVERYTHING about a sofa I was so excited to get. I wanted a big sofa the whole family would fit on come the holidays. The other 365 days a year it’s mostly two people who weigh less than 200lbs each. It’s been a year and half since I got it. The fabric is thinning, worn, piling, and looks awful. My husband had to rebuild the frame, and again we aren’t overweight, we don’t throw ourselves on it. All around this was the worst purchase.”

“My grandfather bought this sectional 4 years ago. It looked beautiful at first, and was the perfect size for the entire family. However, the extra decorative pillows were very rough. The back support pillows are sewn-in and are not easy to clean. The removable seat cushions started peeling within the first year, and the cushions NEVER stayed in place. The reason I gave it 2 stars was that the base is sturdy and heavy, but otherwise am sad that my grandfather used his savings to buy this, but it looked a wreck within the first year. We are stuck with it, since their warranty didn't cover the fabric peeling issue; the cost of the sofa was so high, we couldn't just replace it with a new one. We have to put removable covers over the cushions when we have guests due to the embarrassing look. I wish Ashleigh had taken responsibility over the fabric covers on cushions.”

“This is the most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever owned— it isn’t comfortable at all. I was so excited to get this in our new bonus room- I have small disability and it sits so low - so hard to get up. We have had service call the frame was broken when we received it and I swear the other side is messed up too. I have so much furniture from Ashley but so disappointed with this purchase. I have ordered taller legs and hoping this will help but just more money I have to spend.”

“I have had this sectional for a year and a half and it looks terrible. The couch is comfortable and was absolutely gorgeous at first, but the fabric pills horribly, the cushions do not stay in place, the cushions are also only covered in fabric on one side, so they cannot be turned over. One back cushion has torn apart from the back of the couch, and one end piece creaks every time you get up. The fabric has also stretched out on the cushions that get the most use, so it looks saggy and weird. I'm currently in the market again, which is greatly disappointing.”

“It's a comfy well-framed couch but the favric material is a shiny chenille-like fabric that makes the seams pull apart easily. We are 4 years in and it's had 2 zippers broken, and 4 seams pull apart that i tried sewing back up but since the material is chenille they just slip right apart again. The cushions do fall off alot but we used velcro strips to help.”

“Purchased November 2020. It’s now April 2023. The Ballinasloe 3 piece sectional looks 20 years old!! Three of the cushions are torn. Also one cushion on top part is torn?! Idk how that even happened, but the stuffing just falls out. The reason I say it looks about 20 years old is because the fabric looks really bad!! I think for the price it should be a little better quality.
They don’t make furniture like they used to make it!! Very disappointed since I’m a single mom.”

“Purchased in August and got it at the end of October. It is now March, this couch is ok, starting to notice sagging in the all cushions fro where we sit.
Material on the outside is great, just wish the actual cushion was better quality on the inside. I have noticed after watching a movie, my back and hips hurt. If I ever move from where I’m currently living, I will probably just sell the couch and get a different one. :(”

“Lasted for approx 9 months before the frame started falling apart. Not built to last, every seat aside from the corner sinks in and the zippers are broke on the cushion covers. Where the top cushions connect to the couch there is tearing and on the corners of the couch. We haven’t misused the couch it just absolutely not built to last.”

“I bought this sectional for a semi-finished part of my basement. It has plenty of seating and is very comfortable. Can easily have a couple of people sleep on it for those impromptu sleepovers the kids seem to always have. The chaise is short in that you can't lay down on it, but I can sit comfortably upright on it without my feet hanging off of it (I'm 5' 11").
The pieces connect together nicely and the matching pillows are a bonus.
This is an inexpensive sectional, so I wasn't expecting super high quality, but it has exceeded my expectations.”

“3/22-Purchased this sectional in 2019 & it is holding up really well. I have four small children that love to run across it and jump on it and it is still going strong! We did have to reinforce the bar in the chaise part of sectional but I think one of the kids jumped wrong & just never confessed! The wear of the cushions has been really good. There is a small hole at a seam that I need to stitch but overall, this is a really good sectional!”

“This sectional is wonderful! Very spacious, firm but yet provides plenty of cushion. We are very satisfied and recommend it. The only downfall was that the frame of the couch was not pre-drilled with holes for the legs. We had to drill them ourselves and then attach the legs. Not sure if this was a fluke....the directions make it sound like they should have been drilled already. Nonetheless, still going to give it 5 stars because it did not affect how great the sectional is for the price!”

“We are loving our new sectional! It’s just what I was looking for. I bought it during a holiday sale with a coupon and it’s a great addition, can’t beat the price for what you get. I was looking for weeks on different sites till I came across this one. It’s on the firmer side without being uncomfortable, I prefer firm over sinking in to my couch. It’s a large sectional so make sure you have the space! Only negative is the cushions do slide out just a tad, so when I’m cleaning up I just push them back in, not a big deal!”

It is like chenille. We got the smoky color as we have babies and it's great! We sprayed everything with scotch guard immediately. We have not had issues and it's easy to spot clean as spills occur. I highly recommend and it fills the room nicely. We got an Ashley coffee table to go with it.”

And our small couch and loveseat just wasn't doing the trick ( which we had bought from Ashley 5 years prior) so when we walked in the store we fell in love with this sectional and purchased it. It is the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on and we can all sit on the couch at the same time. My big dog Likes to run around in circles on it and jump up on it and over the back and there's no issues I think the fabric holds up great. We didn't get the stain protection for it however my son has spilled red and blue juice on it and I've literally just went in with a damp cloth and it came right out so overall it's a great piece of furniture.”

“We have this, and it's awful. The connection between the chaise and the rest of the couch has a hard piece which sits under the cushions and creates a wildly uncomfortable transition. If you move at all, your hip is assaulted with this cheap piece which is miserable. This makes the chaise section basically useless. It's comfortable to lay down on the couch, but the chaise is awful. The Chattanooga Ashley conned us into a nearly $500 cleaning/repair service which was absolute garbage. We attempted to use it once, and the company could not be contacted. It was a pure profit scam.”

“I guess I got longer out of it than most people - I got it in August 2021 and it is completely falling apart at this point. The support for the chaise collapsed in the first year (why can it not hold a bodies weight, if that is what a couch is literally built for?), so the cushion sagged and its uncomfortable sit on. From about 2 years in the stuffing is coming out of 2 of the back cushions. The 2 seats we dont sit on look great, but the second you start to use this it deteriorates. The cheap foam compresses, the longest and best part of the couch to sit on is no longer usable because the foam is so flat and hurts to sit on. Terrible quality over time. Wont be coming back to Ashley - i paid a lot of money for it to last more than 3 years/”

“This is the worst couch we’ve ever bought. If you have any animals or kids, DO NOT BUY. The fabric is pilling really bad and snagged within the first couple of weeks AND the stuffing is coming out of the cushions. Also the back cushions are ripping from the wood structure.”

“If I could give this couch zero stars, I absolutely would. We've had it for only a week, and the cushions already look worn and sunken. It's extremely firm and uncomfortable, and the sections don’t even connect properly. Since we bought it in-store, we’re stuck with it—no returns. After spending $2,000 including the ottoman and delivery fee, I’ve never regretted a purchase more. When I called the customer service line just to ask about the return policy, they actually laughed at me. I’m already looking for a replacement, and it definitely won’t be from Ashley.”

“Do not recommend. This furniture does not hold up to pets. Not even a year of owning the furniture, the seams are coming part. Had the seam fixed once within the year & it's already back. We bought matching ottoman, the middle sinks & already the seams are coming apart. This couch did not hold up past a year, save your money!!”

“Bought this couch right after we bought our new house in July 2024 with a manufacturer date of
02/22/2024 and the chase cushion has already failed and sunken in BAD. Other cushions are fine and comfortable. I figured being in a 3rd party retail store and saving $100 was a great deal but i was clearly was wrong. Now the 3rd party retailer is out of business and I’m screwed. They want almost as much as a new 1 cost for under foam. I don’t recommend buying anything from Ashley’s as it’s cheaply made”

“Loyal Customer Extremely Disappointed
I’ve owned four Ashley couches over the years and have always been happy — until now. I loved Ashley furniture, but this particular couch has been nothing but a letdown. The material snags and pulls with minimal use, making it look worn and cheap almost immediately. The ottoman broke within a few months.
What’s worse? I purchased the warranty, but of course, none of these issues are covered. I expected better quality and better support from a brand I’ve trusted for years. After less than a year, I’m already shopping for a replacement.
I’m extremely disappointed. This experience has made me reconsider ever purchasing Ashley furniture again.”

“Worst couches ever they won't even last you 5 years at least, on my 4 th year there broken I bought the warranty with them and the warranty is about 200$ more for them not want to fix or replace anything. When you buy them they tell you if they can't fix and if not they'll replace it, that's why I bought my couches there and nothing. I'm on my 4th year and not even the warranty nor Ashley's wants to do anything. They don't care your just another sale to them. I will definitely be spreading the word and telling my whole family and friends to go to living spaces or bobs furniture. The quality you think it is isn't a repair guy came and stated evrything is made with the cheapest wood and staples not even nails. I even called Ashley's again in Palmdale and spoke with Julie and let her know how they were treating me for her to tell me she will send them a email and see what they say. She said 4 years later I can't do anything. But when I wanted to buy the couches and get a credit card from them they were more then helpful it's insane. Clearly shows they don't care about there customers they just want a sale. It's not there couches in there own home they don't care. I made a complaint to the BBB have documentation on Evryone and everything please don't make the same mistake I did. I didn't just buy couches I bought my tables end tables rugs so I spent lots of money there for me to be treated this way. Very disappointing at the end I know it's not Julie fault she didn't make the couch but just sending a email is enough for me to feel like your helping me cause I'm doing way more I really hope with that email something is done this is unfair”

“This couch is beautiful. It was initially comfy soft. But the back to leg ratio is extremely short. I’m 5’4, and when I sit down the couch is not comfy for lounging like a sectional should be. I have had this couch for 5 years and no it didn’t withstand much. Seams are ripping, the fabric is a little bit better than cheap. The sectional doesn’t connect very comfortably. We are now in the market for a new couch. My parents have a couch and 2 chairs and have had it for more than 20 years and it is in better shape than my sectional of 5 years what a shame…. Also some spots creek too smh”

“I bought this couch during Covid & was so excited. But that quickly faded when the super thin fabric around the zippers basically just fell apart. Cushions won't stay in place. Fabric tore on the back cushions at the seams. I feel like it was drunkenly assembled in the dark. Can't wait until I can afford to replace it.”

“We bought this couch about three years ago. I was very clear with the salesperson that I had a large dog and two small children and needed something that would last. I specifically asked if it would withstand my dog laying across the back cushions, as he likes to look out the window. She assured me that this was good quality and would withstand our lifestyle. A year in, the chaise began sagging--no problem, I purchased a wedge to support the cushion. Two years in, the seams across the back started tearing. Three years in, seams are tearing across two of the back cushions and across the chaise seat cushion. There is also piling and microtears starting in the other seat cushions. We had an Ashley sectional before this one that lasted about 5 years before we had to just replace the seat cushions, so we are extremely disappointed at the decline in quality over the last 10 years.”
