DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! FABRIC IS TRASH

“We bought this sectional brand new, and were so excited to put it in our new home. After a little over a year, the fabric on all cushions and back rests started pilling bad! Of course it was right after the manufacturers warranty expired, and our furniture protection plan does not cover pilling. We will NEVER buy any products from Ashley after that because clearly their products are not meant to last. it is upsetting because we bought over $4,000 worth of furniture at once, including the sectional.”

Pilling is not considered a manufacture defect and the 1-year manufacture warranty along with any additional protection plans purchased do not cover pilling. Pilling is caused by friction from use. We do recommend using a sweater shaver for maintenance. Size is great, fabric is not!

“Love the depth of the couch and being able to add an additional piece to make it bigger. The fabric however is not great, we encountered pilling within the first month and cannot get it to go away. It looks very worn and all i was told was to get a pilling tool to remove on my own. We haven't even had the couch for a year, and am ready for a new one.”

NOT BUILT TO LAST

“I've owned this sectional for 4 years & the bottom board broke from one of the inside cushions a few days ago. Which leaves me no choice but to gladly buy a new couch that won't swallow me into the abyss. The material on this has been a nightmare after a few weeks of owning it. It pills terribly & makes the cushions feel like burlap on your bare skin. The pilling makes the couch look dirty & makes me uneasy when I have guests. I bought an actual fabric shaving razor to remove all the excess balls & strings of material & it only stayed "clean" for a week or two. Not to mention a cushion covered ripped maybe 2 years into owning it. I highly recommend choosing another sofa or sectional because this was very disappointing to spend my money on.”

The piling is HORRENDOUS!

“When I bought this couch I thought it was perfect, the color, the size that fits great in our small house etc., fast forward a few weeks when the piling started. I have tried everything to get this couch to look when I first bought it and nothing works. It’s so disgusting. I’m completely embarrassed to have anyone over my house and I can’t return it. This thing sheds so bad and my cushions are literally hairy!! I have never seen a couch so this. Please fix this couch, I really wish I never bought it.”

“I love the style and the comfort of this sectional and it’s the perfect size for our room but that is it. The fabric looked beautiful in the showroom and when we first got it but within a week or so it’s began pilling terribly. Not little round balls but long hairy like fibers (it’s not pet hair). We’ve only had it set up and using it 3 months now a it looks horrible. My recommendation is to not purchase this sectional”

Nice Sectional

“I really like this 2 piece sectional. It is super comfy and goes with pretty much any decor. The only reason for only 4 stars is that the seat cushions cannot be flipped. The bottom of the cushions are not upholstered. Why?? Makes me more concerned about spills and stains. Ashley should have gone the extra INCH and covered the entire cushion. Would have added some longevity to the set.”

Falling apart after three months!

“Super disappointed! This was such a lovely couch in the showroom but once we got it home it very quickly fell apart. After only two weeks the fabric started to show major wear on it but the coach was hardly being used. We’ve only had the couch for three months and the wood frame cracked last night. I’ve always been the type to be careful and take care of things so they last but there’s no hope.”

“Love this. Only just received it so we will see how well the fabric stands up to day to day life. It’s super comfortable and just a really nice looking sectional. The throw pillows are huge and could’ve been a bit smaller. I’ll probably only use the 2 charcoal color pillows. Other color of the fabric is a grey beige color.”

“We were looking for a spacious sectional that would fit in our two bedroom apartment. After lots of research, we came across this Bovarian sectional. The ordering process as smooth and easy, it actually arrived within 2 weeks. It looks perfect, and we love it.
It's a little firm (but we love that) to provide back support, and it comes with 5 large throw pillows.
The delivery service was excellent, they knew what they were doing and actually assembled it for us in 5 minutes!”
