Horribly cheap fabric. Don’t buy if you have pets.

“When we first bought the couch we loved it. It was so soft and comfortable. Now we hate it because the fabric is awful. This is not a kid/pet friendly fabric. We’ve only had it 6 months and it’s extremely pilled and snags so easy. Pet fur embeds so easily and becomes impossible to remove even though we vacuum the couch every few days.
We’ve started the process of filing a claim under the 5yr warranty we purchased, and are hoping to get it replaced with something totally different.”

Pilling is not considered a manufacture defect and the 1-year manufacture warranty along with any additional protection plans do not cover pilling. Pilling is caused by friction from use. We do recommend using a sweater shaver for maintenance. Comfortable but cover material is bad!

“The couch is comfortable itself but the cover material is TERRIBLE. it pills worse than most winter sweaters and it's so easy to snag and pull some of the threads where it doesn't go back and there's an obvious imperfection. Especially if you have pets with nails that will be on the couch. We've had the couch for maybe 4 months and i'm already looking for covers. Most of the time i have blankets covering most of the couch and the ottoman.”

“Overall this couch is great. My only thing is that the ottoman part (the shorter end of the couch) doesn’t stay under the cushion at all. It slides every time I move or get off the couch. When I bought it I didn’t realize that it wasn’t attached to the frame of the couch. Im going to have to purchase some high quality Velcro or something to keep it attached so it stops moving around. Which I truly hope doesn’t void my warranty on it.”

“The couch itself is great and fits perfectly in my living room.... but the material is horrible! Within the first week it started pilling. It snags on absolutely everything. I have had this for just over a year now and the fabric is pretty much ruined. If you have kids or pets, I do NOT recommend this material at all.”

“I’ve had this couch less than 2 years and I’m already looking to replace it. The material is trash and doesn’t hold up. I ended up purchasing cushion covers within a couple of months to try to save them. The cushions for the chaise lounges hardly stay in place. If you need to wash the lounge covers, prepare for a workout to get them back on. Not pet friendly. I’ve also had to stuff the back cushions on 3 seats multiple times. Probably a decent choice if you don’t have pets or kids. Or are not going to sit on it much. I gave it the second star because the ottoman is nice. However I also have that covered with a blanket.”

“Was looking to upgrade our old sectional that we bought very cheap when we first moved in. I love the double chaise on this. It’s comfortable and very spacious but still fits nicely in our small living room. The putty color is much nicer in person than the product photos. Very neutral.
Would definitely recommend getting the matching ottoman. It’s awesome as well!! Weighs 1000 lbs and is toddler proof. lol
This set is definitely good for a young family. If you’re older and looking for more “comfort”.. it may not be for you. But it’s a solid mid level sectional. We bought online without seeing it in person, and I would purchase again.”

“I love the color, the softness and the look this large sectional. However, after 2 months, the stitching in the material had started to come loose and caused fraying larger sections of it to comp apart. After 4 months the 2 cushions in the middle are breaking down.”

Perfect couch for our small living room

“We needed a replacement couch after our lab puppy destroyed our last couch. I wanted something similar to what we had and this was the closest I could find. I love the double chaises and the ottoman table is great. My husband and I fight over the small chaise side. The couch and ottoman are way bigger than I had envisioned but luckily it fit perfectly on the wall I needed it to. It makes our small living room feel really cozy. I’m happy with our purchase so far. It’s a little stiff but it’s only been a week and I’m sure we will break it in between the dogs and kids!”

“Looks great upon purchase but after only a few months and cushions were deflated and flimsy.
Warrant is 1 year and after about 15 months the zipper on a back cushion broke leaving the fluffy insert to fall out. The extended warranty I thought I purchased would cover accidents like this and they were rude and not helpful whatsoever. A zipper shouldn’t be breaking on a couch a little over a year old.
Don’t buy the extended warranty it barely coveres anything .
Spend your money on something better quality that will last. Will no longer purchase from here or their warranty.”

“We were initially thrilled with this couch, but less than two years in, we deeply regret the purchase. The material is poor quality—it tears easily, even with couch covers. Despite always using covers and blankets, the fabric still frays and pulls apart over time. The cushions lose their shape quickly, becoming uneven and indented with minimal use. Additionally, the chaise cushion constantly slides out of place, creating gaps between the cushions, which is both visually unappealing and uncomfortable when lying down. Next time, I’ll opt for a more affordable alternative.”

“We regret buying this couch so much. All the cushions have visible dents in them from where people sit. I washed the covers once on gentle cycle and they torn along the seams. The couch looks worn after having it less than a year. Definitely not a good choice for a household with pets and kids.”

“Purchased this sectional a couple of months ago, March of 2025, and for the price it’s decent. The color is fantastic, material is soft and cozy and it’s the perfect size, shape and fit for our space. The back cushions are attached so there’s no worries moving, accidental slippage or rearrangement of those. On the other hand, the seating cushions aren’t attached at all nor is there any built in Velcro to keep them in place. That being the case, the seating cushions don’t stay in place, nor do they fit up under the back cushions very well- huge negative there. I recommend buying some heavy duty Velcro off of Amazon, as we did. We bought this sofa, sight unseen, online because of the great price, size and material type, but would highly recommend to anyone else considering purchasing this sofa not to make that same mistake.”

“We have owned this couch for 2 years, we LOVED this couch. Now I'm embarrassed to have this couch, the 3rd month in I sat down and the back wood board snapped. The cushions MOVE whenever you do they never stay put. The fabric PEELS like crazy and is so thin that the chaise on the left side has a foot long hole that wore in. I love the shape of this couch and the comfy aspect but the cushions sink in after a year of having them. The average life of a sectional is 7-15 YEARS, we've had this couch for 2 and are already looking for a new one.”

“I would give zero stars if I could. Maybe a half star, due to the size and I love me a double chaise. It’s poor quality. It started fraying almost immediately. One cushion came already busting out of the zipper. The cushions don’t stay on and slide out from under you, leaving a huge gap between the back of the couch and the end of the cushion making it very uncomfortable. I also find it to be a tad bit itchy. Definitely do not recommend if you have a dog. Even though all the tears can’t be blamed on our dog, it doesn’t stand up due to poor quality. The fabric just frays. We have used the couch for less than a year and are already shopping for a new one. It’s a good starter couch, but definitely not built for family use.”

“I purchased this couch in late March 2025, and unfortunately, the quality has not lived up to expectations—especially for Ashley Furniture. The fabric began pilling quickly, and my lounge area now looks worn and unkempt. I’m already looking into replacement covers, which is frustrating given how new the couch is. The cushions are unstable and constantly shift out of place, and the pillows have started to sag noticeably, making the couch look even more tired. Overall, I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this model based on my experience.”

“Weve had this for 3 years- This couch is perfect for our small living room - the u-shape is great. The neutral color is nice, but like others have said the chenille fabric is not pet friendly. Our cats love to scratch it, and I can imagine a dogs nails would also ruin the stitching so definitely learn from our mistake get covers. The chaise cushion has to be pushed back constantly, and it has flattened pretty fast so maybe consider a higher tech cushion. For the price point, this couch is great!”
