“Writing this review to give my honest opinion, I had the sectional first 5 months, let me tell you is the must uncomfortable sofa I have ever bought, the pillow in the back itches, my back hurts when I get up from this sofa. Save your money and DO NIT BUY THIS SOFA.”

“I Haven’t had the same experience as some others, after 3 Years my sectional still looks great, I still love it. I did treat it with scotchguard when I first got it, maybe that made a difference but this thing Is the best 😍”

Beautiful couch and good value...

“Gorgeous couch! I saw the mixed reviews and was a little worried, but I saw it in the store and decided to go with it. I am very happy I did. The cushions are the thickest I have ever had (8"). They are a little firm, but I know they will give, and I prefer that. I read the concerns about pilling and sagging. I have not owned a couch in the last 15 years that did not pill or sag soon after getting it. I had a Pottery Barn couch that pilled and sagged terribly within a year. My 75 lb doodle is on it constantly, and it is good as new. I keep it covered. The cushions are large and hard to get covers for. A lounge cover works well for two cushions. It is an impressive couch!”

“Have had our couch for a little over a week and LOVE it! Such an upgrade from what we had before! The cushions are deep and cozy. There’s plenty of room for our family of 6 to all get comfy. The couch is sturdy and heavy so it doesn’t slide around. The back cushions are removable to fluff in the future if needed. Very happy!”

Bad Quality

“I bought this couch five months ago and it looks terrible. The cushions are all pilling and the ottoman is badly bowed. The seats are comfortable, but they are already sunken in. I am extremely disappointed in this couch. I loved the look when it was brand new, but that new look lasted maybe 2 weeks. My 5 month old couch, looks like a 5 year old couch.”

Great couch! Train those kitties, though

“We're so happy with our couch! We got this couch in the wicker color and so far it has held up to our two cats and us sitting on it frequently. It's a little scratchy on bare skin so if I want to lie down on it and rest I put a blanket under me. For regular sitting it is just fine. So comfy right away, no break in period needed. Do be wary if you have cats that scratch, though. We are still training them not to get at the couch and within the first few days, the threads were really coming out. Had to trim the threads and it was good as new.”

Not what we hoped for!

“We were so excited about this couch.. loved the color, quality, feel, and We loved it when we got it in our house. Within a month, it started looking like it was so old, the fabric started pilling and staining everywhere that was sat on. The little pills are so bad all over it. We paid for the protection plan through guardian and they have been awful to deal with. It’s taken months to try to get a claim approved and it’s not as easy as they sell you on. I wish we would’ve went with a different couch. This one is 4 months old but looks like it’s 10 years old. :(”

Obsessed with my 2-Seat "Loveseat"

“I purchased the 2-seat "loveseat" version of this (it's 98" long, so that's an understatement!) after seeing the sectional in stores. I absolutely love it, and I am so pleased with both its look and comfortability. The deep seats are perfect for cozying up on the couch and naps. Worth the money for sure!”

“I was so excited about this couch! It was beautiful and comfortable in the store. We’ve now had it for 2.5 years but you’d think we’ve had it for 10. I was excited about the removable fabric so we could wash it but once you unzip the back cushions all it is is loose cotton and it’s a mess. We finally ended up washing it but now the cushions look lumpy and awkward. Why would anyone make a cushion like that? I would definitely avoid buying this couch.”

Most disappointing furniture purchase I've ever made

“I've had this sectional for less than 1 year and looks like its at least 10 years old. The fabric pills badly. You can use a shaver on it but you have to do it constantly - like weekly. The back cushions do not hold their form at all. I can't even fluff them enough to make them look decent. You can see the outline of the boards on the back of the sectional. It's very cheap looking. Granted, on mine they are dirty from the dogs walking by but you can't hardly clean it because the material is up against the edges of the wood slats and rubbing causes damage to the fabric. The included throw pillows are extremely hard - like ridiculously hard. The seat cushions are also very firm. We thought it would become more comfortable over time but there has been no change. It's fine for a conversation but definitely not for lounging. That's on us - just something to note. It's weird - like parts of the couch that are ridiculously firm and others that are totally opposite and can't keep form at all. I've purchased several sectionals and living room sets over the years. This is by far the biggest disappointment. Listen to the reviews!!! This is a lot of money to waste.”

Absolutely do not buy!

“If I could, I would give 0 zeros. The couch has held up terribly. After 6 months, the fabric began pilling making the couch look very worn and much older than it is. The back cushions become misshapen and deformed. I would throw this couch to the curb if it was not so expensive. The insurance is a scam, everything they claim to cover is not covered and such a process to get anything repaired.”

It is not the product, it is the dogs. However I need to have it recovered I think or get new cushions for the entire thing. Any suggestions”

TERRIBLE QUALITY FABRIC

“I've had this couch for about a year and a half and it looks TERRIBLE. I don't have kids, it's just my husband and myself and we are generally very careful/gentle on our things. That being said, the fabric is pilling all over, stretched out on the seats, losing shape in the upper cushions, ripping at the seams, and overall just looks really bad. And this has basically been happening since a few months into owning it. A couch this expensive shouldn't be showing this much wear so soon! I also tried to submit a claim with the $500 warranty plan and they won't approve any claims that can be classified as "general wear and tear" or "previous damage" so don't even bother.”

Pilling, Seam Rips, and overall bad fabric quality

“We got this couch in March 2023 and within about 6 months of buying it, we noticed the seams by the zippers of the cushions we sat on often were already ripping. Also, the pilling on the couch was immediate. Like most of the other commenters, we loved how the couch looked before buying it, but the fabric quality is not good and does not last, even with light use (we don't have children and our dogs are only allowed on the section that has a dog bed on it). We are very careful with our couch, I cannot imagine how bad this would be for others who let their dogs unprotected on the couch, or kids who may hop on the couch occasionally. Additionally, you cannot buy new cushions covers from Ashley if you have had the couch longer than a year. We didn't think to report the seam problems right away, and now we are at a position where one of our cushions does not have a zipper due to the seam tearing (on the cushion we don't even use often) and are having issues with other seams and pilling. The 5 year insurance coverage that comes with the couch does not cover any seams or zipper issues, only stains and rips. It is frustrating to have a 2.5 year old couch that looks like it is at least 5-10 years old.”
