Great For Your Next Global Pandemic

“Bought this dining set 5 years ago. Honestly, we don't use our dining room a ton. This dining set has adequately handled the handful of larger meals and gatherings we have hosted over the last several years. Good quality. Expandable leaf that stores under the table is nice. Table is flat and you can sit things on it. Works just fine as a table. But let me tell you, where this table REALLY shines is when it gets converted into a makeshift work from home office during a devastating global pandemic! The expandable leaf gives me plenty of room for all my files, papers, beverages, desk lamp, and small TV that has been dragooned into service as a second computer screen. The real hero here is the chair that is included with the set. I've been sitting in this thing 8+ hours a day now for 3 weeks and honestly, I don't miss my office chair. It's been a real lifesaver. I hope I still have this dining set the next time a global pandemic ravages out planet. 5 stars would recommend.”

Beautiful, High Quality Dining Set - I’m impressed!

“I don’t know why this dining set hasn’t gotten more reviews. I’ll start by saying, the table is beautiful AND heavy! I see why the instructions call for at least two people. Screwing the legs on was the easiest part. Hauling it to my dining room and standing it on its legs took a little more creativity but we did it. The wood is pretty dark, which is exactly what I wanted. The chairs took a little more time because we wanted to be right and exact in making sure the legs were level. Having an adult sit on the chairs while tightening really helps with the leveling. Like the table, the chairs are solid. I can see this entire set lasting us a long time. I placed pads under the chair legs to avoid scratching up my floors. Can’t wait for our other two chairs to arrive. We love the set so much, we’ve also purchased the bench and server.”

Easily scratched???

“I'm not one to ever leave a negative review but our table looks scratched after having it for ONLY 2 DAYS. I was thinking about finishing it with spar urethane but I shouldn't have to. We don't have young kids or animals and we're very gentle on our furniture. I've read through other reviews and wondered if this is common.......”
