Installation nightmare.

“This was very difficult to install. The directions were very confusing, you basically need to be an engineer to figure them out. Also the system is is very unstable. We had to install extra wall brackets because it v came loose and a shelf fell on my head. The drawers should have pre-drilled holes. I’ve never had any furniture that had to be assembled that did not have pre drilled holes-even IKEA has these! In the end there are some installation flaws but I really like the finished product.”

Looks sharp and tons of storage

“This looks like a really nice closet and provides a ton of storage. I received my closet system in 9 boxes and one of the boxes was damaged but I quickly received a replacement for the damaged pieces. The install took around a day with two people (6-7 hours) with the majority of time spent putting in the rack with toggle bolts. If you are relatively handy and have all the required tools you shouldn’t have any issues installing this system maybe a 5/10 difficulty. You can flip the orientation of the closet to your desired fit. We didn’t have to cut any boards or rods because my closet was the exact maximum width of this closet system so there is something to think about if your closet is smaller than the maximum width. Overall I would recommend this closet system it looks very sharp once installed. The price seems steep for what it is but once installed it really does look like a $1k+ custom closet.”

“This closet has totally changed my closet, for the better! Lots of corner storage. The hanging space is plenty (just remember that if you cut off the ends to fit it down, that is all hanging space that you are losing). We paired this with another one of the drawer towers and also a shoe rack and it makes for a pretty amazing closet!”

“This went together really well, but the instructions are a little confusing. ALSO - mine came in 9 different boxes, and I had to open almost all of them before I could find the master instruction booklet. it would be so much nicer if they would have a QR code or something like that on the outside of each box to take you to the master instructions so I knew which box to start with. We didn't really have the space to have them all left open while we worked.”

“Great closet!! A little delayed because one part came in and gray instead of white. Our closet was smaller so we cut some shelves and rods to customize to our space. We paid for professional assembly which did a less than stellar job so we ended up finishing it ourselves. It also can be installed left or right. Better priced than other closet systems out there. Overall very happy and pleased with this purchase.”

“Great Closet Solution. Instructions a little convoluted, because they’re different for each section. Took about 4 hours. Altogether a very well built piece of furniture for a closet. Easiest solution, take all the pieces out of the boxes and do mock ups before you make permanent installations. Aside from the corner, you can really mix and match to your choice, adding to the fun of building as you move things around and really set it up the way that is most functional for you. Highly recommend!”

“For the price, this can’t be beat! Quality closet system at lower price than any of its competitors. There was a delay in shipping, but Ashley Homestore was apologetic for the delay and offered a small credit to make up for the inconvenience. Shipment arrived in 9 different boxes, but everything was intact and accounted for! Will definitely consider for next closet in the house that we re-build!”

“Item arrived with damaged and missing parts. Resolution is tedious and slow. Buyers beware of 72-hour return window. This is very unfair and unreasonable. If you don't want to get stuck with a product you don't like or are unhappy with, be sure to open your packages immediately upon arrival and not wait till the weekend to inspect. If you're looking for closet organizers, you're better off going to Lowes or Home Depot which have fairer and more reasonable return policies. Buying from Ashley Home Furniture was a big mistake. Beware!”
