Lack of customer service!

“The cabinet arrived with scratches in one door, and the cord to plug-in light is smashed. I called to report that and I got an email back asking questions about the box. They wanted pictures of the box. I can’t send pictures. I live in a small house in a gated community. There wasn’t room for the box in my house, and I certainly can’t let it sit in the yard. That means I tore it up. I don’t understand how deciding whether or not, they would settle this and fix it for me would even be a question. I still have not heard back from them and I don’t have the parts. We can’t adjust the doors until we have the new door, so I can’t put my stuff in the cabinet and it’s all over my kitchen counters. I expect respectful and quick service when you sent me something that was defective. I have furnished both my living room and dining room in my new house with things from Ashley furniture. If those parts aren’t here by the end of next week, I’m going to return the cabinet, stop shopping at Ashley, and make sure all of my friends know what a dump it is. I am more than a little angry that I wasn’t treated with respect and the parts weren’t mailed when I called about them. Please do something to help me through this. I am so frustrated.”

Good BUT…

“This is a nice piece BUT one of my handles was bent in the middle. Also, the wire for the light scratch the inside wood during shipping. The directions were perfect for assembly, but it takes hours to assemble. For that reason I will live with a bent handle and a scratch ed wood surface. Wish it wasn’t slightly damage, but that’s what you get with cheap pieces being shipped. Also, the massive sticker on the inside warning about tipping over is permanent on the inside of the display case. Weird. I tried peeling it but it comes off in teeny tiny bits. It would take me all day to remove it. Sigh.”
