Seat is really low

“This chair is lovely in some ways, but the seat is so low (16-17 inches in reality) that it gives a child furniture vibe in my living room. Being so low, It's also difficult for my elderly parents to get out of. It's more comfortable than the worst of the fast-furniture chairs, but not comfortable enough for long-term sitting. The angle of the back is pretty weird, and my butt and low back hurt after just an hour watching a movie. I would return if it weren't so difficult, and I might still. I wanted to love this chair, but I regret buying it.”

“Love the color, fabric, and feel - very comfortable. Only reason for the three stars is that it sits very low to the ground. Wasn’t expecting that. Personally, I would have purchased different chair if I would have known. I’d recommend as long as buyer was aware of this feature.”

“I ordered this chair and got a called from Ashley saying it was being delivered, the day of delivery I called them and they said the chair was on back order, no one called to tell me that! I took the day off from work to wait for delivery and asked them if they would do anything for me and I got the answer no we don’t do that, so I cancelled my order and decided I would never buy from Ashley again, that terrible customer service!! And the woman on the phone I spoke to was very snotty!”
