No Online Purchases from Ashely!

“The Cabinet is still in the box, unharmed. We wanted to return it because it does not match the new living room set that we purchased from Ashely Furniture. This has become a big problem for us it says you may return the item on the online order. However, you must pay for shipping. and had to wait five business days before the shipping department that handles returns would get back to us. I tried to explain that all our furniture in the home is purchased by Ashely Furniture. I I
Emailed them explaining all this and the response was the email was blank. I will never buy anything online from Ashelys again. I may never buy anything else the way we have been treated as a long-time customer.”

“I would probably not buy another item that has to be put together from Ashley. I have put together most furniture from Wayfair, Bed, Bath & beyond, and Amazon, and never had such a horrible experience with things, not lining up, and screws not holding. Very unhappy.”

“Very bad experience, the color is wrong and we called customer service they ask for pictures and a “ specialist “ is going to get in touch with us in the next 7 business days to see what they can do.
Next time you try to buy online from Ashley be carful!!”

Wrong color cabinet received - ordered "brown" but received "light golden brown"

“We are NOT happy at all. We ordered the Acadian 36” Rustic Storage Cabinet, Item # A600037492. There were 4 color choices of Black, White, Distressed Gray and Brown. We ordered the “Brown”. We received “Light Golden Brown”. We didn’t realize it was the wrong color until after it was assembled by family members. Light Golden Brown wasn't even a color choice given for this item on your website. After contacting Ashley Customer Service, we were told we had to disassemble the cabinet and pack it back up. The cabinet will likely be damaged if we try to disassemble it. Extremely disappointed that there is no other alternative to get the cabinet we ordered in exchange for the wrong cabinet Ashley sent us. Ashley offered us a 10% keep-as-is discount. 10% ($34.59) is essentially the amount of the sales tax we paid, so I don’t feel that’s a discount for the wrong cabinet sent by Ashley. The bottom line is that we specifically ordered the “Brown” cabinet and Ashley sent the wrong one. It’s just unfortunate that family already assembled the cabinet before knowing it was the wrong color. If we could return the light golden brown cabinet for the brown cabinet we absolutely would. Online orders can't be returned to a local Ashley store. This cabinet was supposed to be located at the front door entryway of our home It was the first thing you saw when you opened our front door. We love the quality of the cabinet and it’s the exact measurement we needed to fit in our entryway, but the “Light Golden Brown” cabinet doesn’t match anything in our house, so we’ll likely end up giving away a $345.99 cabinet, or moving it to another room in our home to “hide” it, which defeats the purpose of displaying such a pretty cabinet. Even if we do find a way to return it in exchange for the same cabinet in the correct color (brown), how can you assure us this won’t happen again? How do we know we won’t receive the wrong “light golden brown” cabinet a second time? Revisited your website for this exact item and read the reviews and found that other people had the exact experience with this exact cabinet received in the wrong color brown. We have been loyal customers with Ashley for over 25 years, both of our houses have been furnished, and recently redecorated, all with Ashley. We are not trying to cheat Ashley, and not trying to get free stuff, we simply want the cabinet shown on your website in BROWN.”
