“Easily put together, but some pilot holes were misplaced, then corrected during manufacture, so there were several obvious natural wood colored holes showing on my black bench, which I had to paint. The finish has sags and drips and looks bad. But worst of all, the arm pieces are differing lengths, so when put together the bench does not sit square. I have it on a tile floor, so if the back is flush against the wall, the front does not sit straight on my tile line, or if I line it up straight on the floor, the gap at the wall is over an inch wider on one side than the other. VERY POORLY MADE! On a plus side, the zippered cushion cover is very nice, but that's the only good thing about this bench. Extremely disappointing.”

“Holes didn’t match up correctly when assembling. Looks great and once together fits nicely in our space, but it’s not as thick or sturdy as it looks. I probably wouldn’t purchase again solely because the bottom is just a thin piece of board and we had to redrill holes for it not to rock.”

“I ordered several items from Ashley’s. I’m sorry I did. This bench has been a nightmare to put together. I still haven’t finished it. I bought it to store my soft drinks in and also have a seat by the kitchen door. It will not work for that as the bottom is not a very sturdy wood. Maybe better used for blankets or kids toys, nothing with significant weight. I was pleased that this item was delivered timely. Some of the items I’ve ordered from Ashley I am still waiting for and have been told they may arrive in a couple of weeks but no guarantee. It hasn’t been ideal. I wish others better luck.”

“Love this bench, easy to assemble, holds lots, padded seat comfy, looks great & adds character to room. Would have given 5 stars except for screws provided to "pneumatic" arm were too small & ripped out with first use-substituted slightly larger screws which work fine!”

“seems sturdy and looks good but I am only giving 3 stars because the inside bottom could be much more sturdy, i wouldn't recommend putting anything very heavy inside. when attaching the lid using the predrilled holes it does not line up properly and rubs wood against wood when opening and closing. the seat cushion just lays on top, does not attach and has to be moved to even open the bench. I feel its a little overpriced.”
