Good entryway storage

“The hall tree was easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. I did have two problems with assembly. The first is that the wood dowels do absolutely nothing. They don’t fit snuggly into the holes to it’s super wobbly until you lock/screw pieces in. The second problem was that the instructions have you put the door on at the end so you basically have to crawl into the chest to get the screws in. Do yourself a favor and put the door on before you fix the bottom piece to the top piece.”

“Final looks as expected. Dowel pins too loose. Holes for dowels were too deep. Preinstalled hinge screws would not tighten. Coat hanger hooks don’t hang straight.”

Delivery was really strange

“Ordering was easy. A few days later a tracking number was send saying the hall tree was on its way on FedEx. The tracking number was not valid. There was a link to check my order at Ashley’s site, so I put in the order number and zip code. Apparently the order was delivered, but it wasn’t. I called. (Why does the same lady with customer service work for T-Mobile and AT&T? No matter where I call, no matter the reason, I get the same lady who is not in this Country?). She tells me it will get delivered the next day and it did get delivered. A white Van where the guy slid it out the back door of his van, let it drop on the driveway, along with broken parts from inside the van were in our driveway. Quite strange! I took pictures of the box in case there was damage.
Yes, we like the hall tree and it is just what the entryway needed. Assembly was a slow start and took about an hour.”
