I would have called and had some shipped to me, but I found a place that sold them. So I guess Ashley Furniture needs to have a meeting with their quality control department and tell them to do a better job.”

“Couldnt wait for this to arrive. I knew it would look good in my livingroom. When I opened the instruction and laid all the pieces out, I didnt think it would take long. The instructions stated it would take approximately 30min and recommends two people work on it. WELL......it took me 3.5hrs (give or take cause I made dinner and walked my dog). But what took the longest was the base - the very bottom shelf. It was so frustrating and I eventually had to turn on the A/C cause I was getting hot tryin to figure out what was wrong. If that is done wrong, it stops the progression of the construct. I had to redo the base 3 times. The instructions didn't clearly state certain things to looks for - which would hinder those 4 bars in the front/back. Once the base was finally correct and able to nails things in their correct space, it went back quick. But yea, future consumers, pay attention to the nail holes in the base. Other than that, I was glad to have finally complete it.”

“The look and design is sleek and even handling the boards it feels like it's decent quality, but it really isn't....at least from a veneer standpoint. I put a few picture frames on this bookshelf and when I moved them around they nicked / rubbed on the wood grain causing some nicks. For some reason, the wood on this is extremely delicate. Keep that in mind if you purchase, be careful with what you put on it and even the slightest "drag" could mark this up very easily.”
