Beautiful and Heavy Quality Chests

“So glad I pulled the trigger and decided to splurge on these pieces!! I have had my eye on them for months, and knew I wanted slightly oversized and light natural wood to go in the master bedroom to compliment our reclaimed door "headboard." They are so beautiful in person and just what I hoped them to be. However, one arrived in fine condition, and the other was broken upon shipping. The wood that is glued/nailed to hold up the drawers inside were almost all broken off, and the drawers themselves were collapsed inside. I was able to put the pieces back together so it could be functional, since I did not want to deal with return shipping and waiting for a replacement since they are so heavy and I was excited to set them up. The quality is great, and they are holding up well.”

Major Delivery Problems and Damaged Item

“I was really excited about these bedside tables per many of the reviews. My husband and I received these as a wedding gift. When they arrived FedEx drop them off at our front door. They are very heavy and we struggled to lift them together into the door and up the stairs. Ashley was very unaccommodating when we called about asking for help moving these heavy items. The customer service was honestly unbelievably bad. Then once we got them to our bedroom upstairs, we managed to open the boxes and one of the dressers had a massive crack in the top. We called and they opened a ticket about the issue and said they will respond in 3 to 5 days to decide what to do about this. If we have to carry these down the stairs ourselves to return this item for them to yet again drop one off at our door and go through the same rigamarole, I will be livid. They need to come retrieve this damaged item and offer complimentary delivery with a new one to make amends. We are unhappy with Ashley currently.”

“I ordered 4 of these, one of them arrived damaged. Ashley Furniture rep continues to respond to my emails saying that I need to personally transport the broken set to a donation center in order to receive a replacement. No where in their terms do I see this as a requirement. I asked them to pick it up and do it themselves but the rep has been extremely difficult and unwilling to work with me.”
