Manufacturer sticker stains table top

“The table itself is great but the manufacturers put a sticker on the top that stains the stone - ironically the sticker is the warning sticker that says be careful what you put on the marble. I got a replacement and the replacement also had the sticker on top.”

“This is a very cute little side table BUT … it arrived with a sticker attached to the marble top. The top is permanently damaged. Too bad because it was the perfect size. Return was a bit of a hassle as well. Ashley required 6-photos, and you pay return shipping. On a $60 item that they sent defective!! I love Ashley Furniture but with so much being sold online, that policy needs to be reviewed. This isn’t the seller fault, this was a manufacturer problem.
I recommend Ashley, but maybe not this product.”

“First the table wobbles. Second the screw holes to attach the top do not line up. Two out of the 3 screw holes line up. Third there were stickers on the top of the stone top that caused permanent marks on the stone.”

The Table with a Sticker that Should Not Have Been on the Marble Top

“The table is cute, wobbly on carpet, may sit better once it's on the carpet for a while. But here's the problem: it came with a sticker on the marble top that states that marble has many different shades to it and be careful not to spill anything on it. Basically, it was a reminder to take care of the marble top. Well, in taking the sticker off, there is a darker rectangular patch that doesn't match the rest of the tabletop. It looks terrible. And the irony is that the manufacturer says to be careful with the marble top, and "they" slap a sticker on the top that flawed the marble top. I would like to send a picture so you cn see what i mean.”

“First off I'd like to say that because of the review regarding the sticker I wanted to see it in person. I was unable to see it or even find out if they had one in a store because no one answered their phone! I went to the store and asked about the sticker and the sales person said I don't remember seeing stickers. How could she? They are not in the stores. I took a chance and sure enough there was a sticker. It wasn't gummy but when you remove it the "marble" is darker in that spot. Soap and water didn't work. A polishing grit didn't work. And the table is not level as you can see by the picture and yes I checked my floor. Now I have it out of the box, assembled and what? I try to return it for another one with the sticker? So, I am keeping it for the time being. I am going to try WD but I'm not really sure this isn't a composite of some sort. Why would the sticker part be darker? I put a couple of felt pads on the bottom of the base to make it level and calling it a day.
Not worth the hassle I'm sure I'll get because I didn't purchase their insurance which was double the cost of this table.
I will not purchase anything else from Ashley.”

The table arrived damaged, and even after a phone call and several emails to ebanluta@<a href="http://ashleyfurniture.com" target="_blank">ashleyfurniture.com</a> complete with photos, I have received no response or compensation. The table is not usable as the top metal piece that attaches the the round marble top was severely bent. It's junk.”
