High Quality Display Cabinet

“I have no issues with this cabinet. I needed something to display some collectible toys. It's a great way to do it while keeping an upscale look in the room. This was used in a mid-century modern design style interior. The quality very good and the craftmanship is great. The shelves are adjustable. The finish is dark brown, almost black which is what I wanted. As shipped in the box, it's heavy but it can be easily assembled yourself. I did it by myself, but I'd recommend two people to get the main three sides standing upright. After that it's super easy.”

“It is a really beautiful cabinet and I like the fact that it's not hugely deep. Still deep enough to serve as storage. The center drawer is very convenient to for things that you would normally keep in a dining room sideboard like napkins etc.
The first cabinet was broken during transit in the truck but they sent a replacement within a week. Their customer service was excellent when dealing with the damage cabinet and receiving the new one.”

Blotchy finish

“I love this cabinet, it was easy to assemble but I’d say you want a second person to help if possible. (I did it by myself though) it looks very high end for the price I paid. ($750 on Labor Day sale)
The reason for a lower rating is the finish on the cabinet is not consistent, it is a dark gray almost black on the outside and I really like the color, but the application on the finish is inconsistent. There are areas that were completely missed with the stain or areas where there are dark blotchy patches.
My doors were also scratched when they arrived, Ashley sent me new doors but it was the same issue with the finish. One door was completely black and one was the blackish grey that matched the rest of the cabinet. So I didn’t even end up using the new doors because the mismatched finish looked worse than the scratches I had filled with sharpie on the original doors.”

“The Lenston china cupboard is just as nice as I expected it to be and the delivery crew who brought it and put it together did a fast and good job. There were a few small areas on the front edge of the drawer that looked like they’d been marred during the manufacturing process; the delivery fellows took pictures and let Ashley know (I did also) and within a week or two, Ashley sent out a technician/color specialist who did a perfect job of fixing the damaged spots and matching them to the rest of the drawer front. There is a noticeably strong odor on the inside of the cabinet when the doors are open, probably from the materials used. It’s pungent but not offensive and may disappear in time.”

“The table comes packaged pretty well, even though my box arrived baby beaten up. I had a small break on the back panel once opening the box. As I and the wife put it together the table began to feel unstable while the glass doors were opened. We also have carpet and so I’ll need to find a way to stabilize it without drilling into the wall.”
