“This is such a beautiful trunk/chest. We are actually using it to store wood, not blankets or things like that. Yes, I get it's probably too fancy for wood, but I wanted something that would look nice as well as be functional and the typically metal wood racks wasn't going to cut it.
The trunk arrived within a few days, and it was well packed. We opened the box and left it in the garage for a couple of days. It had an odor, I'm assuming from the stain used. Love the color and that the top stays open when loading the wood in.”

“I was looking forward to receiving this storage trunk/coffee table. But after unwrapping the the meticulous packaging I was so disappointed. The trunk didn't look like the picture in it's coloring, but I didn't mind that. It was the quality that was a big disappointment. The handles to lift the trunk are uneven and is extremely painful to lift the 44lbs. Even with someone else's help. There was a chunk of "wood" missing on the side and the lid does not close all the way.
But even more disappointing was the service calls that I have had to make with no resolution to this problem. I just want to return this item and get my money back.
Should be a very simple process for a reputable company like I felt Ashley furniture was. I work very hard for my money and I don't have the luxury of throwing away $325 for someone's poor quality of work and bad customer service. Ashley furniture should be ashamed providing this kind of service.”
