Flawed design

“There is a flaw in how the sections connect. If pressure is applied to the back of a section and it leans back the bolt unhooks. There is no locking mechanism to keep the sections together. This leads to a gap that a child’s arm or a dog’s leg can get stuck in. If you have children or medium to large dogs allowed on furniture, I don’t advise purchasing this sectional or any that doesn’t have a locking mechanism to keep sections together. Ashely policy doesn’t allow for an exchange as the flaw is not a manufacturing defect. This critical flaw aside, it is a comfortable couch, hence the 2 stars.”
