“If I could i would give this review zero starts. This couch is poorly made. When we saw it in the store we loved it and saw that it was made in the USA. We were then told that we couldn't guarantee that we would get one of the couches made in the USA. Apparently you can tell based off whether the back fabric is stapled to the couch or if it uses velcro. If its velcro it was made in the USA and if it was stapled it wasn't. When our couch was delivered we were disappointed that not only was the fabric stapled (not made in the USA) it was also in the wrong color. Frustrated and exhausted with the purchasing process we decided to keep the couch as is. Within a few week (2-3) the reclining mechanism for the right seat bent and was impossible to open or close. Thankfully we had the furniture plan and it was repaired. Sadly this was not the end for our couch troubles. We have had the couch for a little over a year and half and its has quickly become uncomfortable. A couch that we got from my parents that is around 25 years old is far more comfortable. Now the right seat's reclining mechanism has bent and is unusable. We are beyond frustrated and mad. This couch is NOT worth it, do NOT buy it.”

“We are both 5'9" and we both have the same opinion. The head rest is a little short and the seat is a little long for our tastes. Our feet also don't touch the ground in the upright position which is kind of awkward. When reclined with a pillow behind the head it's very comfortable though. Material is soft and mechanicals are smooth and easy to operate.”

“I was replacing a very similar reclining loveseat that was in constant use for 6 years. I purchased the Tulen loveseat because I thought it would be a good replacement for the older loveseat. The fabric appears to be very durable and good for around kids. I purchased it online without first sitting in one; that was a mistake.
The good: I like the size as I don't have room for a full couch or a loveseat with a console. I like to recline sometimes. I like the fabric.
The not so good: The loveseat is Very Firm. It actually hurt my legs the first few days I sat on it. I was going to return it, but it seems to be getting a little more comfortable after a few days. I'm sure it will get better.
If you want a soft, squishy loveseat, this is not the one.”

“It's the right size. It's extremely comfortable and like all Ashley products - sturdy and well made. This is my replacement for an Ashley sofa with recliners on both ends that I had for 20 years. That sofa still look like new except for some wear on the corners on the ends of the cushions....the recliners still worked perfectly. I only replaced it because it need to be re-stuffed and rather than do that I downsized to this loveseat. I anticipate having this one for the next 20 years. Truly great product.”

“The pricing of the love seat is mid-range. Looks just like what was shown in the picture. Assembly was easy, took less than 5 minutes.
Since this was for my brother, he stands 5'11" and the chair is a little short for him. While it is comfortable enough, the fabric feels 'thin' and the reclining mechanism locks in fairly well but it seems like it will break with repeated use.
I would recommend this for an adult that is between 5' - 5'5", would not recommend this for children.”

“I do like the love seat. The only thing is if your short like me you almost have to climb in it to seat down. I find it a very hard loveseat. And i seems to slide down and it’s almost like I’m half seating and half laying down. The delivery persons are very nice. It’s is a great loveseat for a small apartment or a dorm room. Maybe in time the loveseat will soften up.”

It looks really nice ( I got the gray ) and the reclining feature works well. Only downside is if you have long legs the recliner portion does go all the way to your feet...but it doesn't bother me. I'm very happy with the purchase.”

My young adult son really likes its firmness though. (He likes a firm mattress and I like a softer mattress. Thus the difference in our opinions.) I recommend this loveseat if you don't want to be enveloped into the cushions, thereby making it difficult to get off of.”

“I bought this set in 2019 and the 5 year warranty. 4 years later the fabric started to fray (not from normal wear and tear) and just gets worse. I thought great, it's still under warranty. What circus I had to go thru only to be told the damage was NOT covered!!! Talk about being pissed! That is Not what I was told when I purchased the warranty at $250. Now I know why I never purchase warranties on anything. Ripoff! And the other side footrest will not go down due to broken board!! Now I need to go buy a new loveseat and I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture!!! Stay away from this company!!!”
