“It gets the job done. But with that being said. The leg rest only goes as high as the seat. So you don't get a true reclining position. The back doesn't go back as far as I would like. I bought this chair to sleep in after major surgery I have coming up. So I was hoping it would go back further. As for as the length of the foot rest it's very short. I'm only 5'3" and my feet hang off the end from my ankles down. I don't see how this would be comfortable for a taller person. Speaking of comfort it's VERY FIRM. Some ppl may like that. it definitely not to hard to assemble. The hardest part was lining up the tabs on the back. 2 ppl were needed for that. Just because of the awkward position trying to see the tabs and holding it in place at the same time.”

“We purchased this chair for my 94 y.o. father. He has lower extremity edema and shortness of breath. The dual motors allow independent back and leg positions. However, the legs do not raise high enough to put his legs above his bottom, let alone his heart, as he can’t put head down due to SOB. Also, his feet aren’t supported and he’s only 5’7”. So we still have to use pillows and a chair at feet to accomplish this. It does provide the lift to get out of the chair easily.”

The only issue so far has been the controller, the wire connector plug separated inside the unit- all I had to do was unscrew the 4 small screws and open it up and reconnect the plug and we were back in business. All in all a solid, comfortable chair, just be easy on the controller.”
