“I usually dont write reviews BUT I need to for this couch. We have the sofa, oversized chair and ottoman. This is the most comfortable couch I have ever had. Some nights when I havent been sleeping good in my bed, I will choose to sleep on the couch instead. I usually wake up in the same position I fell asleep. Unfortunately we are upgrading because it doesn't fit well in our space, it never has. I am super sad to get rid of it. I wish Ashley furniture made this in an "L" shape sectional form! I would 100% purchase. pros: -cushions are easy to remove and wash -our cushions hold up well and don't "sag" like some people say -extremely comfortable Cons: I agree with others that there are a lot of strings on the inside of the cushions but I trimmed it with scissors and it has never unraveled any of the fibers.”

You sink too far into the couch, the material is thready and doesn't hold up what-so-ever. I am already shopping for a new couch as I need something that is much more supportive - there is no firmness left if this at all. There are only two of us living in the house, me (average size) and my daughter, so the breakdown is really disappointing.”

“I love this sofa. It is big and comfortable. You can get in it (rather than merely sitting on it) and pile the throw pillows around yourself and cocoon with a book all day. It's really deep. Despite its size, it has clean, fresh lines and does not look sloppy, but rather structured. It feels supportive and not saggy. The color is light and fresh. We bought the couch and the chair & a half with ottoman. You can work on your laptop comfortably, and company would feel right at home visiting without feeling like being swallowed. This couch is the best of both worlds, business and comfort. We bought a loveseat different from the Monaghan line. It is a linen type fabric in the same color scheme, but not at all as deep. We got it so our smaller framed family members' feet can touch the floor. Lol. I highly recommend this sofa, and the set as well. It checks all the boxes: high quality, comfort, style.”

And so far, I can sleep on it without my back aching. In the middle where the cushions meet; it doesnt dip which is what I was looking for to get more of a bed feel. Taking out all the pillows, the size is about a twin bed. I'm really happy with this purchase! Just make sure you air it out as much as possible, the smell is kind of strong.”

“BUYER BEWARE: This sofa seemed okay to begin with, but we have only had it for a year and a half and the frame has already broken. All we were doing was sitting on the sofa. We moved from one side of the sofa to the middle and all of a sudden, we heard a loud "pop" sound. I purchased an extended warranty, so a warranty contractor repair person came out to fix it. We learned then that this sofa has a "trampoline base" and it does not have springs. The repair person says they replace these "trampoline bases" all the time with Ashley furniture. We were totally surprised. We were not told this when we purchased the sofa. After just a couple days after being fixed, it has gone back to the same thing. It still makes loud creaking noises. This sofa has not been comfortable to sit on in months. The repair person said it's because of the cushions. The warranty company won't do anything else because they state, it's "wear and tear." Since the cushions are not attached to the sofa, we have turned the cushions and flipped them like we are supposed to do, but that doesn't really help. How can these cushions only last barely a year and a half???? We have been highly disappointed in the quality of this sofa. The sofa doesn't get jumped on by kids. Just normal sitting. We expect more from a $1200 sofa. If I didn't purchase the extended warranty, we would still have a broken couch after just over a year. Why can't they just replace the entire sofa? That's still an unsolved question my wife and I are asking ourselves. When we first saw this sofa in the store, my wife and I both agreed it was the right one for us, but after just a year and a half, it's become our nightmare.”

I had a hard time reaching customer service because my call kept getting answered by Cardi's who couldn't help me. Ashley furniture said this type of malfunction isn't covered under warranty but they sent a couch mechanic out as a courtesy. He couldn't fix it and said Ashley would reach out in 5 days but it's been 2 months and I never heard back. Separately I also experience the sagging and flat cushions others mention in their honest reviews.”

Cushions have held up well, we did just recently replace the bottom cushion fillers as we wore them out in covid lol. But the cost was like less than $150 total and easy to do. So it has a new life already. I may be having to just get another one of these instead of a sectional as i can't find this kind of seat depth in almost any other models for less than $5,000”

I gave it two stars because of the color and the material feels lovely in winter and summer. Being T-cushion doesn't help. “If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I purchased an entire furniture set from Ashley Furniture along with their protection plan, thinking it would give me peace of mind. After only two years, the support on my couch broke off the frame, leaving the seat cushions unusable. When I contacted Ashley Furniture about the issue—while my warranty still had three years remaining—I was told that the warranty covered tears and the frame, but not “tears on the frame.” That sounded like an excuse to avoid honoring their warranty. To make matters worse, the protection plan had been outsourced to a third-party company that Ashley has since stopped working with. Yet, in the three years I’ve been trying to resolve this, no one from Ashley Furniture or the warranty provider has helped or taken responsibility. What makes this even more frustrating is that the same sofa is still being sold today, despite its obvious design flaw. I paid over $300 for a protection plan that turned out to be useless. I’m extremely disappointed in Ashley Furniture’s customer service and their lack of accountability. I’ll never purchase from them again—and I strongly urge others to skip the warranty and think twice before buying anything from Ashley Furniture.”
