Meets my health needs

“I like the chairs features and has met my needs. I have one complaint on the quality of the workmanship. For some reason I’m a person about detail. The right arm rest is smooth and even. The left arm rest has uneven areas as you move your hand back and forth. It probably won’t bother most people but it does to me. I know this is nothing you can repair now but I ask that the person in charge of quality control make sure especially those areas on the chair where it will be touched the most, be even.”

Poor Customer Service from Ashley.

“We purchased this chair on 3/22/25. We also purchased the Extended Protection and White Glove Delivery service. The chair was delivered on 3/26/25. Initially it would not work, but the delivery team "repaired" the chair and left. On 3/30/25, I was notified that the chair was not working. I was on vacation. I called customer service on 4/3/25. They requested (3 times) photos and video of the motor working. Since the motor was not working, there was no sound from the motor. Finally, they ordered a new motor. It was sent to me and arrived 4/11/25. I called to schedule service. The technician came on 4/15/25 - did not have the correct parts. The technician called someone and sent photos of the parts required. I then called in to confirm they would be ordered. On 4/21/25, I called because I had not received any information. The parts had not been ordered. I finally received these parts on 4/23/25. I called to schedule a technician. The customer service rep explained they only give me a day - no time at all, not a 3 hour window, nothing, just Saturday, 4/26/25. I am to wait until the day before and then they will advise the timing of arrival. That does not seem like customer service and she called it my appointment. We are very disappointed in this chair and the service received from Ashley Furniture. We cannot rate the chair since it has not worked properly since delivery.”

Unhappy Customer. Poor Experience. Motor/Lift Mechanism Failed In Only 35 Days. Unknown Weeks to Received Replacement Parts!

“My review is as much about the purchasing, service support and communications as it is about the product. It took 3 phone calls over 7 hours before I actually talked to someone. I purchased a Platinum Protection Plan. Motor/Lift mechanism failed (loud grinding noises and no movement) in only 1 month and 4 days. Ashley will not replace the chair, and ordering parts takes an unspecified / unknown amount of time to receive. Parts shipped to me then I must make unknown number of phone calls of unknown number of hours to make an appointment for repairs appointment for repairs. No idea how long I may have to wait for that to occur! I want to return this failed recliner and purchase a better one such as a dual motor, but NO I have to put up with all of the above, and not have a working recliner until who knows when! I am very sorry I purchased from Ashley's Home.”

“Bought 3 mo ago. This is probably one of the most uncomfortable chairs/recliners I’ve ever sat in. It is very hard and uncomfortable. It also did not come with any instructions for the remote. I figure the red is for heat, but what the heck is the green for?”
