Great chair, except...

“I really like this recliner. It is roomy and very comfortable. My only complaint is the location of the controls. They are on the inside oh the right hand arm rest. It is difficult to reach the control when I share the seat with my grandchild. It puts stress on any charging cables that are used with the charging port. This chair would be greatly improved by moving the controls to the exterior of the arm rest.”

Acklen Place Oversized Recliner is TRASH. I don't trust their off-brand furniture. It's LOW GRADE.

“I bought it on the 7th of May, and it was delivered on the 14th of May, the back frame broke on the 28th of May as I was watching tv. The structure is made of waferboard, the stuff that shingles are nailed on the roof of your home. No real wood structure. They will not warranty your product if they thought you fell asleep on it, so you better not relax on it. Also don't fall for the VIP days where Ashley offers you free delivery and extended warranty. That devalue your furniture when you want to use your warranty. It's not worth the money. It's TRASH! I have that piece of monstrosity sitting my home waiting for the garbage collector to pick up. Ashley wants me to keep the broken recliner, and they want to give me $350 or me bring back the recliner and they give me $750 credit towards something of that same family.”

“I like the controls on the inside of the arm and I love the size of this recliner. I don't like that after two month the seat is now uncomfortable it feels hard like strips of wood under me. I'm disappointed I have always purchased Ashley's brand and had no problems with anything else,.”
