BUYER BEWARE!

“I strongly advise you to reconsider your purchase of this couch and buying from Ashley altogether. I have had this couch for one month and the material is already pilling and it does not seem like it is going to hold up very well. I never write reviews for anything but I am so deeply unhappy with this couch and the customer service that I received that I felt compelled to let others know. The couch is not the only issue. While trying to have my couch delivered I ran into some issues. My delivery that was scheduled had to be postponed and then rescheduled because the delivery driver had a criminal record and we live on a military base so they weren’t allowed on. When I called the warehouse to discuss this issue the warehouse manager was incredibly rude to me and blamed me for the delivery issue even though my paperwork stated that we live on a military base. I called Ashley corporate headquarters because I was so unhappy with how I had been treated and they apologized and said they would send me a gift card for my inconvenience and assured me that my furniture would be delivered without any more issues. I still have not received my gift card and when my furniture was delivered a week later the delivery people left stains on the couch and tracked mud all over my floors. The one delivery driver also bumped his knee on the truck while unloading and was loudly swearing and hitting my furniture in front of my neighbors and my five year old son. I will NEVER purchase from Ashley again and I strongly caution anyone considering this couch or this company to look elsewhere.”

Absolutely terrible

“We have owned our modmax couches for less than a month and I have to say we are beyond unimpressed. My first point I would like to make is that the dimensions on the website are not the dimensions of the actual couch so it does not fit as expected. After less than a month of ownership, we are experiencing horrible sinking and the little rubber feet that are supposed to prevent the couch from sliding don’t work at all. We are constantly having to push the couch together because one of the pieces has slid out of place. For over $3000 we are severely unimpressed. Save yourself the money and buy something else.”
