Disappointed w/ Ashley

“I recently got this sofa on 1/7/25, and needless to say I am terribly disappointed in this sofa. It is so hard I can’t sit on it! It makes my back hurt, I fell asleep on it and I felt like I was laying on a slab on cement! This sofa is terrible. It is stiff, rigid, no softness to it at all. There are 4 pillows that come with it and 2 of them aren’t even the same that were the ones that were in the store, they are not attractive. I will be exchanging this hunk of junk for something more comfortable to sit on. It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star.”

Horrible sofa and qualit

“If I could give this zero stars, I would. First off the sofa is horribly uncomfortable to the point where my husband and I have started having lower back issues. I purchased the sofa in June and it is already starting to fall apart. When I called customer service and talked to the escalations team, they said that they would not offer an exchange nor is anything covered under warranty because you have 72 hours to report any warranty claims. They offered to send a technician to my house, which is totally unhelpful. I have never purchased furniture from Ashley before because I thought it was cheap quality and had heard horrible things about their customer service, but I decided to give them a try and regret I did. I was promised to receive callbacks and never received any callbacks as well.”

We found exactly what we were looking for with the AMAZING service we received from Scotty Pelky. He knew all the products with great detail. It's not often we find kind and knowledgeable sales people like Scotty.”

Attractive Set, But Disappointing Comfort and Build

“I was excited to purchase the Ashley Bresslyn Place Sofa Chaise, but after living with it for a while, I’ve been disappointed with several aspects of its design and build quality.
The ottoman cushion is the highlight of the set — it’s soft, comfortable, and has a nice amount of give. Unfortunately, the rest of the seating doesn’t match this quality. The sofa cushions are noticeably firmer and make an odd plastic, “diaper-like” crinkling sound when you sit down or shift your weight. The difference is so extreme that the pieces feel like they came from completely different sets.
The sofa and chaise also don’t connect or line up as cleanly as they should, which makes the entire setup look slightly mismatched and uneven. In addition, the armrest on the chaise has hollow spots or voids where your arm sinks down past the support on either side, making it uncomfortable to use.
Overall, the set looks nice at first glance, but the inconsistencies in comfort, construction, and fit make it disappointing for the price.”

Practical, but uncomfortable

“The couch was the perfect layout for my space and I knew it was firm going into it. But I figured it would loosen up and instead my back and sciatica often hurts when sitting. the chaise sinks in and just sags while the end of the chaise leans up from weight. The cushion doesnt seem like great quality. Dont love it especially for the price but unfortunately I am stuck with it for some time.”
