“So to start I will say that overall my experience with Beauty Rest was great. Scheduling the delivery was easy, they had great service. It’s a heavy duty mattress- it’s sturdy and you can tell it’s well made. The black is both an elegant touch and will cover any stains long term which is important. Now onto the comfort level. It is described as Ultra Plush- It is certainly comfortable but it is actually more firm than one would expect. It is great for side sleeping, but not as much back sleeping. I would agree with temperature regulation as my always hot fiancé felt that he sleeps more comfortably on this mattress than our old one. I do wish it weren’t so tall, makes buying a sheet difficult and covers quite a bit of our back headboard. However overall this is a fantastic mattress. It is built to last and while it would be an investment for any potential buyer, it would be a long term payoff for the lack of pain when waking up.”

“From moment this mattress arrived I was in love with it. The black color of it makes it look defined and luxurious. The weight of it makes it quite solid and makes me believe it will be durable. The flexibility of the mattress makes it a good fit for either an adjustable base or a box spring like I have it on. When you first lay down on the mattress you think wow this is soft and feels like a pillow! I was concerned it would be a little too soft and not supportive enough but that just wasn’t the case. This mattress hugs every curve of this plus sized body of mine. The mattress isn’t too hot it almost feels like it has some cooling effect on the hot days! I received this mattress for free in exchange for my honest review and I have to say I am incredibly impressed with this mattress. The only real downside to it is now all my dogs want to sleep in bed because it is so comfortable! I highly recommend this mattress if you’re considering buying a new one!”

Tall, thick, and overall high quality mattress

“It’s a high quality mattress. Though it said mine was extra plush, I didn’t find it overly soft which is good. It’s very heavy and luxurious. However, I did find with how tall it was, it oddly felt smaller than a true queen size mattress. I think if you enjoy thick and high sitting mattresses, you’d enjoy this.”

Good comfort but not life-changing

“From the extended height of the pillow top to the elegant shimmer-like diamond stitching, my first impression is that this mattress is very luxe.
From recently mattress shopping and laying on many different mattresses, my partner and I both favored the softest cloud-like plush level across all brands we tried. Because of that, the Plush Summit Pillow-Top was our best contender among the Beautyrest Black series.
The Queen-sized Line 4 Plush Summit Pillow-Top is hefty and comes in at 67 lbs. which makes it a bit harder to rotate the mattress if needed. The extra height from the pillow-top still makes the bed quite high even though I have a lower bed frame (less than a foot high). So be sure to keep in mind the bed frame you’ll be using and your height preference if you opt for a pillow-top. You’ll likely need deep fitting sheets as my current queen fitted sheet rides up but the mattress protector I have underneath stays put with its stretchy sides.
After over a month’s sleep on this mattress, one stand out is that it’s true to being soft and very cushioned. The plush is plump and rises quickly back up after being on it. As a side and stomach sleeper, it’s almost too plump where some nights I feel like I don’t need a pillow or my neck will ache.
I don’t feel a difference with it cooling and almost feel a bit warmer than usual even though I don’t run warm/hot when I sleep.
There are no major issues so far and have high hopes for this to mattress to have long lasting comfort.”

Comfortable!

“I am so grateful that I got to try this mattress out. When you first lay down it is soft like laying on feathers. Really soft. When you lay down it sinks to your body shape and supporting your spine by filling in the gaps. I have noticed that I am not waking up in the middle of the night with leg cramps and I am not tossing and turning through out the night constantly. I have been sleeping so much better because the bed adjusts to the shape of my body. Also, when i get into bed I am not waking up my husband because the mattress is not bouncing as I get into bed. I have noticed that the mattress itself is cool to the touch. Overall, the quality of this mattress is absolutely wonderful.”

“The Beautyrest Black Ultra Plush Pillow Top Mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. It was immediately comfortable, it has a wonderful support for a plush mattress, it’s nice and cool to sleep on, and we were even able to eliminate using a second pillow to support our necks because the support was so wonderful. 
It is heavy duty and very high-quality. The black mattress is also beautiful.
It is much taller than our previous pillow top mattress so it took a couple days to get used to the height, but we really like it a lot.
As someone who struggles to sleep, I have been able to sleep like a baby for the past few weeks. I’m so grateful to be chosen for
the opportunity to test and review this product. 
It’s truly the best sleep I’ve ever had as an adult! I highly recommend! ”

Finally an unbelievably amazing good night’s sleep

“Omg yall this mattress is sooooo comfortable. It offers amazing temperature regulation even though it is very plush. I’m a side sleeper and this offers enough support for me to sleep comfortably and wake up feeling well rested. This is a super deep mattress (about 20 inches), so it does require sheets of a specific deepness to fit well. Also the mattress itself when bare is aesthetically pleases. I live the black with hints of gold throughout. Do yourself a favor, if you love plush mattresses, and purchase this one. You will not regret it at all!!”
