Falling off a luxurious mattress 😵💫

“The Beautyrest Black is overall a great mattress. It looks incredibly glamorous! It’s very well made and provides great support despite only being of medium firmness. Neither of us has had a sweaty night since we got it despite the 100• temperatures we’re having right now.
The one complaint is the way the pillow top is designed. Instead of being the same thickness to the edge of the mattress, it gently slopes down to mattress height. Both my partner and I have felt like we were falling off the bed because of this.
Overall, the mattress is great but I wouldn’t buy one simply because of the way it feels like you’re falling off the mattress when you get onto the outer six inches of the mattress.”

Plush and firm

“To say I feel like a million bucks is an understatement!
Let’s begin with the thickness. I feel so high up and at first I thought I didn’t like it, but later did. Reason being I get out of bed easily as opposed to having to pull myself up.
The soft plush pillow top meshes perfectly with the firmness below and I can’t feel my husband move whatsoever.
This would be a great value for someone that wants to invest in a good quality mattress.”

Comfortable and supportive

“I switched to this mattress from a foam mattress that came in a box and I have been getting the best sleep thanks to it. I feel completely supported but it is not too firm, I never wake up with back or neck pain anymore. I also never feel like I am overheating, I think this mattress does a good job regulating temperature.”

“I knew I needed a new bed, I also knew I was in a bit of a funk. Not performing, not feeling my best, but i never put the two together. It wasn't till after I got this new beauty rest black mattress that I reallized how important a good night sleep is. It's an amazing bed better than any bed I'vr ever slept on! I really like how it's soft and comfortable but fits my taste for firmness and provides proper support. I feel like a new person since I've started sleeping on this bed. I would totally recommend.”

Beautiful and Restful

“When I first received the Beautyrest Pillow Top Mattress, I was so pleased with how it looked. I even gasped, "wow, that's beautiful!" It is a black mattress with small silver stitching that makes it look so luxurious. We've been sleeping on this mattress for a month now and love it. The pillow top makes it so comfortable but still supportive. I like that it is made to be used with or without a box spring, so we didn't have to change our bed frame. It is nice that the mattress has built-in handles which made it easy to move and place on the frame. The mattress is quite thick so some of our fitted sheets are a tight squeeze to cover the whole side of the mattress, but we haven't had it come off of any corners yet. We need more time to see how durable the mattress is in the long run, but so far we have enjoyed many restful nights on it.”

“This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned! It is awesome to own a mattress that when you’re sleeping you can’t feel your partner move. We get a very peaceful sleep because this mattress does not make you hot. Which leads me to believe there’s some kind of temperature control! We absolutely love it!!! Go get you one and you won’t regret it!”

Great, high quality mattress!

“I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Let’s start with the most important thing: comfort. This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.”

“First, I have to say I absolutely love the black color of the mattress. From a functionality perspective, it is very comfortable as a pillow top medium. I don't feel like I'm sinking but it doesn't feel stiff either. My back feels great after a full night's sleep! I also don't feel as hot as I did with my old mattress. The material feels high quality.”

“This mattress is hands down the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had. It’s a medium plush top which means it’s a medium firmness underneath the very squishy memory foam pillow top on the top. The mattress is very tall at 16ish inches and very heavy but a great build! Doesn’t sleep too hot and both my partner and I think were sleeping better than ever. I will absolutely repurchase another of this style mattress when it’s time for a replacement!”

“This mattress works relatively well but not great for us. It has been rough at times for side sleeping. It’s also starting to slope on both sides (higher in the middle) after about 6 months. I recommend really trying it out before buying.”
