“Exactly as described. This is by far the MOST durable bed I have ever slept on. The support in the mattress is amazing yet very comfortable feels like sleeping in clouds that don’t got flat. I normally have back pains after work and then I lay on my back on this mattress I actually get good sleep and don’t toss and turn as much. Temperature regulation is a 9.7/10. I appreciate that the mattress is black as well. I didn’t receive a pillow topper to review however, this has now officially replaced our mattress in main bedroom!”

Comfortable and supportive

“Very comfortable! It provides just enough softness on the surface with a consistent underlying firmness that supports a variety of sleeping positions (we are a back/side sleeper and a side/stomach sleeper). My back is less sore when I wake up in the mornings. Motion isolation is much better than our previous mattress.”

“The beauty rest black 2024 line 3 medium size queen mattress is great I love the quality the way it looks the support is amazing it seems like is going to last a long time the mattress doesn’t make you sweat it regulates temperature well the medium is a true medium is not too hard or soft at all , if you are looking for a new mattress definitely give this one a try and the best part is that is black so you don’t have to worry about every little stain a white mattress would get”

For firm sleepers

“Has great support. If you like a firm bed this is for you. It kind of has a plush top but is still more firm. It’s very durable. But be carful when movie it with the straps they seem easy to break. I love the look. It’s much nicer than a standard white mattress. Just need a matching box springs now.”

“This mattress combines comfort and support with style! The medium firmness level provides a balance that should suit a wide range of sleepers. It offers excellent support and reduces motion transfer, making it great for couples. I also felt it maintained a cool sleeping surface, which is ideal for those who tend to sleep hot - like me. Overall, the mattress is designed with premium materials that are both durable and comfortable.
The downside is the sizing as it feels much smaller than anticipated. For example, my husband and I have owned a queen bed for years which was plenty of space for us. However, the mattress, listed as a Queen size, is noticeably smaller in width than what I'm used to. It feels more along the sizing of a twin XL, so I would recommend sizing up.”

Just enough soft and firm for mattress

“The mattress is heavy, I can tell it’s just enough firm and durable. The height is perfect without the box spring. If you use box spring , it will be a little bit tall. Really comfy to sleep on- doesn’t sink down and cause back pain like other mattress. Plan to buy one more for my son bed”

Great support and comfort

“Wow I love this mattress. My husband would happily sleep on a piece of plywood for the support and I prefer something softer since I am a side sleeper. This mattress somehow has won us both over, it is soft enough to be comfortable to me and also has great support that makes my husband happy. I absolutely recommend. The only thing to be mindful of is that this is a thicker mattress so standard sheets will fit, but just barely, so the fitted sheet does come off at the corner every so often for us. Still totally worth it and I will be getting new sheets to fit it better.”

“I got this mattress in exchange for my honest review, and I'm excited to share my thoughts! First off, this mattress is super plush and supportive - it's great for any sleep position. I love the sleek black color with silver accents, and it's extra tall because of all the cushioning and support it provides. For ease of use, I would recommend getting a size bigger of fitted sheet to use with this mattress due to the height.
The fabric feels super soft and luxurious, and I appreciate that it doesn't tip or lift when I sit on the edge. Initially, there was a bit of a chemical smell when I first got it, but it went away on its own after a few days. One thing to keep in mind is that it needs to be rotated weekly for the first month to make sure it lasts a long time - but that's pretty standard for mattresses, and it's not a big deal.
The delivery process was smooth sailing, and I've been sleeping great on this mattress for a few weeks now. Overall, I'm really happy with it!”

“I was so excited to try today mattress out. It’s beautiful and pretty comfy. There’s always a breaking in period so at first it’s a little hard then as it conforms to your body it because a lot more comfortable. It fits our bed frame perfectly. My hubby and I don’t overheat at night like we did with our old mattress. And he even says his back pain has gotten better since switching to this mattress.”

“I received this product free from beauty rest and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First off, this mattress is SO luxe! I can’t believe I was chosen for this campaign. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture of it before dressing it but the actual mattress itself is a gorgeous deep black with a diamond pattern. These mattresses retail for 1.5k and up and I can totally understand why after sleeping on it for the last few weeks. I got mine with a medium firm rating and its perfect, just enough plushness to feel like I’m sleeping on a cloud, but not enough give to where it hurts my back when I don’t change position for hours at a time. It’s got special cooling technology to help you sleep more soundly at night and like 5 different memory foam and gel layers that make this one of the most supportive mattresses I’ve ever had the absolute pleasure of sleeping on. Highly highly recommend.”

“I think the Beautyrest Black mattress is a beautifully made high quality mattress. The medium support mattress is designed to have just the right amount of pressure relief. The top feels very soft and plush. However, in my experience even though it’s medium support with a soft feeling top, it still feels a bit too firm for me while I sleep. I usually sleep on a mattress with a pillowtop so I’m probably used to the extra plushness. The top also has large indentations that are too wide and deep. When I’m moving around I can feel the indentations with my feet. It’s kind of annoying. Maybe it’s just me. Otherwise it is a very nice, quality mattress. I think this mattress would be perfect for someone that wants medium support but doesn’t require the extra plushness on top.”

Before I started sleeping on this bed, I struggled to get up in the morning, but now being in bed feels like an indulgence and I wake up so refreshed. I didn't realize until I made the switch how a fantastic bed can make me feel 10 years younger after just a short time.

With the pocketed coil, triple steel wired design and layers upon layers of patented foam technologies, my husband and I are able to sleep soundly next to each other with no bouncing, squeaking or sinking. I no longer wake up if my husband does. In fact, I don't even think either of us feel each other move at all during our sleep anymore.

Given my age & chronic back issues, I’m never going to get a 100% pain-free mattress. But being bc able to sleep through the night I’ll take! I love the cooling feature best of all!!!”

“After 15 years sleeping on our $1,700 extra-firm mattress, although it was still in excellent condition, we decided we wanted a mattress a bit more on the medium-firm side. (The original mattress did not show any signs of indentation from body weight (112 & 170 lbs. respectively). This $3,600-plus-tax mattress, after 3 weeks, already shows signs of indentations. While it's comfortable, my bet is it will not last 15 years.”
