“Day 1- we were skeptical when we received it. The mattress felt VERY firm, as though we received the wrong mattress. The one we tried at Mattress Firm was much softer. However we were told we need to “break it in”. Time will tell. However we didn’t wake up with a sore back or sore shoulders like our Purple 3 mattress. So far so good.”

“This was my first Beautyrest bed, and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve slept on the bed regularly for almost 6 months, and have to say this is the most comfortable bed that I’ve ever slept on. Both my husband and I each have slipped discs in our back but in different vertebrae locations, and I can honestly say that it’s soft, but also very supportive, and until now, we never rested very well. We both sleep through the night, and couldn’t be happier with this bed! It is a thick cushion, so I had to get little elastic bands to hold, fitted sheets, to keep them from slipping. But that was no big deal, in contrast to the restful sleep that we’ve gotten! I love that the mattress is black, although I keep mine in a mattress, protector, I can see that this would stay clean for longer, which would be a benefit to some people. And as for the value, I can say that this bed is well worth the money, I’ve spent far more than this bed retails at, and gotten less quality sleep. This mattress is worth every penny; Beautyrest made a superior product when they came out with this model!”
