“Hard as a rock. The sides feel like they are breaking down after one month of use. I had to go to the chiropractor from the back pain I had from sleeping on this mattress. Not at all happy with it!!!”

“Bed is firm how I wanted with support. I am a heavy set guy I had a tempurpedic but returned due to it giving me back problems to soft for me even though it was the firm one.
The beauty rest feels good only time will tell and the only thing I don't really like is the craftsmanship could be a bit better there are quite a few long loose threads on the top of the mattress. That's the reason for my 4 star.”

“The Beautyrest Black B-Class - Extra Firm mattress is heaven. It is firm on both sides of the mattress, no bend at all. The top portion is cushy but firm at the same time. I love how thick the mattress is, the mattress is 12 inches thick. I got a great night's worth of sleep. The only negative is putting the fitted sheet on the mattress, it was very tight and I had to really stretch the fitted. I highly recommend this mattress and I would definitely purchase it again.”

Loved the old ones, but started to get back aches from diminishing firmness. Can really feel the difference in the support with the Black B-Class mattresses. Hoping to get as many years of good sleeping out of this latest product set.”

“The delivery was great. It arrived in the plastic. It did have a quarter size hole on the side but its nothing that makes it unuseable. A sheet covers it just fine. It is extra firm as stated. Its hard but not to hard to be uncomfortable. I like that it is black and not white. It makes it less likely to see any stains from kids. It is great quality. And comfortable.”

“I am reviewing a Beautyrest Black B-Class mattress in exchange for my honest review. Overall I think beauty rest makes good quality mattresses. They listen to their customers on what they want out of a mattress. Afterall, we do sleep and we need the best sleep to function in our everyday lifes. With thag being said, I am giving this mattress a 4/5. I like that it's new, I like the color, but the mattress is too firm for me. It does seem to hurt my back. Im hoping with time, I will adjust to a more firmer mattess.”

“If you like a firm mattress, this is a must have. It is EXTRA firm. This feels great on my back and I wake up feeling better than I used to. I do not like a soft mattress and never have. This is the first time I have owned an extra firm mattress and so far I am happy. It is made very nicely and I like the black color...most mattresses are white!”

Finally A Good Night's Sleep

“This mattress is remarkable! It is firm enough to sleep comfortably. Back problems are now a thing of the past; thanks to this mattress. It allows the back to rest smoothly and not wake with severe pain. My entire body feels great after a good night's sleep. This is not only sleep; it is restful sleep. The mattress does not sink or bend when sitting or lying on it. I am so glad to have finally found a mattress I truly love!”

New-found comfort as a stomach sleeper

“This Beautyrest Black B-Class is my first time with a firm/extra firm mattress and after having used it for a couple weeks I can't imagine going back. Since becoming a stomach sleeper I've dealt with intermittent back issues on softer mattresses for a few years. It took a couple days to get used to this extra-firm mattress but after a couple weeks I'm sleeping better than ever. While it is very firm, the soft top foam layers keeps it comfortable and supportive.
The only thing I'll call out is that it does sleep a little warmer than I expected”

“I've been looking for a new mattress for a while, and I'm so glad I found the Beautyrest Black® B-Class - Extra Firm. It's everything I've ever wanted in a mattress: firm, thick, comfortable, ergonomic, and isolating.
The firmness of the mattress is perfect for me. It provides enough support to keep my spine aligned, but it's also soft enough to be comfortable. The thickness of the mattress is also great. It's deep enough to provide plenty of cushioning, but it's not so thick that it's difficult to move around.
The comfort of the mattress is simply outstanding. It feels like I'm floating on a cloud when I sleep on it. The ergonomic design of the mattress also helps to relieve back pain and other aches and pains.
In addition to these features, the mattress also has excellent motion isolation. This means that I don't feel my partner move when they roll over in the middle of the night. This is a huge plus for couples who share a bed. The mattress also stays cool and comfortable all night long.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the Beautyrest Black® B-Class - Extra Firm. It's the best mattress I've ever slept on, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, high-quality mattress with excellent motion isolation and temperature regulation.”
