Literal LIFE-SAVER! Best mattress of my adult life

“This is a long review, but after 1+ month of using this mattress, I hope this resonates with some people.
To summarize: we’ve gone through 3x mattresses within 7 years because they all aged *horribly*. This Serta has proven to me that buying from a well-established brand is the way to go. I had a Serta growing up and it lasted over 10 years- no issues. Throughout my adulthood, we tried all those new, hip, ‘affordable’ brands… but they cost us a LOT of $$ in the long run because they don’t last. I can tell this Chelsea bed is going to last a LONG TIME.
For the last handful of years I felt like using those new, low-cost mattresses that can just be delivered to your door by UPS was my only option. Despite that assumption, my partner and I have blown through 3x of those mattresses within a 7 year period. Every time we would spend more money, little by little. This Serta replaced a $1,100 mattress that was initially quite nice, but did *not* last. My partner started sliding off the side of the bed at night because it was so easy for our bodies to create dents in the foam, flipping it around etc did not help. These dents started showing about 1.5yrs in, which is crazy. It was basically unusable at the 2.5yr mark—- and that was a mattress that had some springs in it for reinforcement, which is unusual for those mostly foam beds that get delivered to you in a tube.
So let’s talk about the Serta: first off, the delivery was AWESOME. We set up a delivery date online, with helpful reminders that came up via text. I had never used a delivery service for new furniture before, so I wasn’t sure if they were going to take my mattress away when they brought me the new one. I called customer service and got hold of a person within like 3 minutes of calling. Super awesome customer service. Plus, I felt like such a fancy princess getting my mattress delivered by two ripped guys. No need for my partner and I to hobble around and do it all ourselves. We just took the sheets off our old mattress before they arrived, they took it away, and put the new mattress on our frame- so easy. Like…. That alone is totally worth it.
Secondly, this mattress is *so crazy comfy*. It has a nice level of reinforcement while still being plush. My first night sleeping on it was a little weird because I was so used to propping my legs up on a stack of pillows on my old mattress, but I quickly realized that I didn’t need that anymore with the Serta. I tend to sleep like a mummy, on my back without moving around too much. My last mattress my lower back started getting really stiff when I woke up because of the lack of support. This is a completely different situation. I slept like a ROCK, and my partner is not only sleeping like a normal person (ie not sliding off the side of the bed in the morning), he isn’t snoring as much, doesn’t flail around at night- he sleeps soundly and wakes up refreshed for the first time in forever. Our first two weeks on the mattress we just kept saying ‘I’m so glad we got this’, ‘this mattress is amazing’, ‘I’m not tired during the day’, ‘my back doesn’t hurt anymore’. We are totally singing the praises of the iComfort Pro Chelsea. It’s a perfect in-between of having stability but also a plush, heavenly top.
Another thing that I thought was cool is I can slide all the way up to the far edge of the bed and the mattress doesn’t even come close to slouching. You just stay put, comfy, coddled, but supported. Not like I’d be sleeping on the far edge of the mattress, but I definitely couldn’t do that with the last few mattresses I had.
Also… our cat loves this mattress. She jumped on it the instant the delivery guys left and just curled up and went to sleep. It’s her favorite place to sleep now. I must say, this is the best bed we’ve ever acquired in the 14 years my partner and I have been together. Now I know why my mom invested in a Serta all those years ago. I love it SO MUCH.”

Improved nights sleep and well worth its cost

“This mattress replaced a 13 year old mattress we purchased at a home furnishings store. We thought the old bedding was in great shape, but this one proved to be a vast improvement. Although it seemed a bit to firm at first, it provided a great night’s sleep. It took no time at all for my partner and I to adjust to the sleep experience, and we both agreed that it provided a great nights rest. It was much lighter in weight than the old one but seems to be very well constructed. A bit more expensive than what we have paid in the past, but appears to be well worth the investment.”

Perfect mattress

“This mattress is so comfortable and looks durable. I like that there’s handles on the mattress to help rotate or move the mattress around. It’s a more firm mattress which is great if you have back issues and need a more firm mattress. We gifted this to our daughter for her new bed and she’s loving it. She was so excited to help open it and set it on the bed.
If you’re in need of a firm mattress definitely look into getting this one. It’s worth every penny.”

“Ok so this is actually such good quality!!! Honestly it’s pretty firm while still bringing a nice soft comfort. I’m a person who is definitely used to queen sized mattresses which are little softer but the type I got delivers what was promised. I definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for a new mattress. Just make sure you look into each different type within the brand as they have many options with different types of firmnesses.”

Perfect Firmness and Cooling

This mattress is on the firmer side which is what I was looking for and is much better than it being on the softer/plush side for me. It tends to get hot whenever I’m sleeping but this mattress’s advanced cooling features and breathable material helps keep my body cool throughout the night. “This mattress is well worth the cost and then some. It provides both comfort and support, and I found myself both fast asleep and well rested from the first use. I would say it skews more towards the “firm” side of the spectrum for a mattress. I prefer a firmer mattress with a slight plushness from a pillow top, which this mattress has. To those with a preference toward that more sinking feel that you get with a foam mattress, this one may not be for you. We enjoyed the slight plushness from the pillow top with the support from the semi firm mattress itself.
Overall, this is a quality product that stacks up with more expensive brands of mattresses without having to pay an arm and a leg. I would definitely recommend this as an option over some of the trendy “mattress in a box” options right now (which we had prior to this). We were very impressed and will look to Serta again for future mattresses.”

“I am absolutely in love with this mattress! It fits my adjustable base perfectly and is so comfortable. I was kind of concerned with it being a 10 inch mattress where I usually get 14, but I have no complaints at all. It's just the right softness for me too. It's listed as a medium firm. It forms just perfect to your body without keeping and indent at all. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up!”

“This purchase replaced my 20 year plus Serta mattress, which had softened up quite a bit. Lying down on this beautiful new mattress was quite a shock to the system. From what I have been educated on, need to give it a couple months for it to soften a bit. All said, I’m pleased with my new purchase.”
