“Just received our sofa today. I was surprised that the power cord for the center console is so short that it will only reach an outlet that is directly behind the sofa. The installers stretched the cord so it barely reached an outlet and positioned the sofa near the position we wanted it in. By contrast, the cord for the recliner options had extenders and had plenty of length to reach the outlet. Expect to buy an extension cord to make it work in most rooms. The color seems darker than what it looked like in the store -it looks more black than brown (chocolate). Too early to tell about other aspects. The delivery people did not wear masks or have on shoe covers.”

“We bought 2 recliners and sofa. My husband did not even try out. He saw, he wanted. He lived in recliner. Myself, I am 6” shorter than he is, set very uncomfortable. I could not get it in position where it never hurt my back or where my head rested comfortably. Three years and I have not sat in over hour. There is no manual backup, if power goes off while in reclining position and couch is very slow to move. He loved it, and I hate. Faux leather does not hold up well. Where he sits has worn.”

Also, couches are a little too firm for our liking. Not good for long periods sitting down. Also, the arm rests are high and hard as a rock... You cannot spread out or lay across and they don't recline all the way back. Already looking for new couches because these are terribly uncomfortable. Would not recommend.”

Great Couch, small annoyances

“After sitting on it for 3 weeks, I've started to notice the little things a bit more. Pros: - Super Comfy seats and backrest - Simple, but really effective cup holders... no leaking with condensation - Cup holders even take some of the larger cups - Power ports both in the center, and on the sides - Adjustable head rests Cons / Things-to-Improve: - Not really a set place for housing the 2 power convertor blocks, and main power cable. Right now I just put it inside the back of the middle section, but its slanted, so things slide out any time the couch is moved (like vacuuming the carpet around) - Would be great if you could move the foot rest all the way out, and have an independent angle for the backrest - USB ports in the center are a bit touchy... moving cables any will have it go on/off - USB ports are pretty low amperage. I haven't tested with a meter, but my 2.1amp charger is like 3X faster than these, so I have to imagine they are only 1amp at best, but more likely <1amp car adapter - Power ports in center do not take larger plugs. My Macbook brick will not fit in any direction. Removing the top lip of the component would address many. Switching it to be recessed down-wards, perpendicular to the surface, and instead have the covering either retract or open upwards on a wider angle hinge, would be ideal for maximum coverage. - Would be great to have a wireless charger embedded in the center console area, behind the cup holders - The center console height is just slightly higher that the side arm rests. But more importantly the edge of the plastic bit is quite rough, and sharp cornered. My arms are irritated from this. Adding a cushion to the edge, or rounding it out more would be great. The side cushioning is too low, and not firm enough to really support your arm. - The gap between center console and back 'pouch' can be dangerous for dropping things. I've dropped my laptop and iPad down there while not paying enough attention... that's on me, but something to be aware of. One small note. If you are 5'5' (like me) or shorter, you can not touch the floor. I'd say minimum height for this chair is 5'7'. All-in-All, its a good couch, but you should spend some extra time with it in the show room to ensure it's the right comfort for you. I'll be keeping mine, and just try and figure out how to rig it up to account for flaws.”
