“We bought the couch for a couple reasons. 1. We needed a new one, our 14 year lazy boy saw is best days come and go. 2. My sister has the same couch and while hers is not used much being a basement set, we really liked the size and look. After have the couch for just over 5 months, I'm not sure this is going to make it more than two years. A couple things I do not like, the cushions slide out from back to front, leaving us to push them back in multiple times a day. The other is the material used for seating under the cushions feels like it can split from kneeling on it. I really want to love this couch and will until we need to start looking for a new one.”

It is the perfect firm seat, soft material, comfortable, great arm rests for sitting on the sides, perfect back with just the right amount of poofiness where your head rests when you get ultra comfortable. My oldest is over 6 ft, great for napping. The color is dark and rich. Very pretty. I have cats, the cat hair (or heaven forbid-crumbs) can be brushed off or cleaned up effortlessly. 1 tiny spill so far, easy clean up with just a damp towel and a little gentle cleanser. Left no evidence of ever being there. I love it! I've had it about a month so far.”

“This is a great sofa! The color is darker than the pics (including my pic) shown. Which I actually like. It does also have an underlying dark olive tone to it, which I like too. Delivery was earlier than expected. The delivery guys were friendly and professional. Comfort wise, it's really comfortable. I love that the back cushions are attached. The bottom cushions do slide a bit, but easy enough to push back with your knees. I also rotate the cushions every other day to help keep their shape. The cushions also have zippers on them, so you could turn the cushions around in them if needed. My husband is 6' 1" and he can lounge on it no problem. It's also really easy to clean, even with just a washcloth and water. We ordered this based all of the reviews on here, without seeing it in person. And we could not be more happy! All in all, it was a great experience and purchase!”

It's also slightly wider than my old couch, which is nice because both I and the dog can lay on it comfortably. The only issue I have with it is that it smelled pungently like wood when I first got it, and even now almost a month later the smell is still slightly there. Otherwise, not a bad couch at all for the price, which I had initially bought at Jennifer Convertibles for $200 more, then canceled the order when it never showed up and they gave me the run-around. A damn shame, since I only bought my furniture from them. This is the first time I've used Ashley Furniture, and I am pleased and will come back when I need furniture in the future (especially since Jennifer is now going under).”

Mine doesn't get a lot of use because I don't have small children and I hang out in other areas of the home, but even with minimal use, I'm noticing the cushions slide a bit over time, as mentioned in other reviews. I will try the shelf liner trick, that makes a lot of sense and I'm sure it will work.”

We can move them around for equal wear. The back cushions are nice and stuffed and firm. Not saggy. There's only one thing I didn't "like".On the description it states that the legs(feet) under the sofas are wood. They are NOT wood .They are a very hard plastic* So hopefully they will last. As far as the cushion material, it's very nice. It feels something like velour, but actually looks like distressed leather. Keeping them covered because of our dogs.I recommend the set”

The cushions are not reversible, which to me is a huge design flaw, however, I see that many, if not most, of the couches sold by Ashley Furniture do not feature reversible cushions. I can only assume that this is intentional. The couch was recently purchased so I can't comment on it's longevity, however, it seems well constructed for the price and is very comfortable. I think it looks better in person. The seat cushions are more on the firm side, but the armrests and the fabric itself are soft and comfortable. This stuff is built fairly solid. I honestly scoured the internet for weeks before making this purchase, and I must have checked out hundreds of different sofas and recliners. I visited stores in person as well. This was by far the best value I could find out of all of that. Some people may want to know that this is built to order, since my entire house smells like fresh cut wood right now. I happen to like it, but if you hate that smell, it's something to consider. It's pretty strong. I feel like I live in a sawmill right now. When shopping in this price range, I was mostly aiming for pet friendly furniture that I thought could last 5+ years. After seeing this in person, I can tell that it will easily make it past 5 and hopefully 10+. Delivery was painless. Chair and sofa arrived together. The chair needed to have the back attached to the base, but it took about 30 seconds to do that. Sofa needed the legs installed after it was moved inside. Also took about a minute. I highly recommend the sofa and recliner.”

“I like this sofa! It’s very comfortable and spacious. You will want to sleep on it as the cushions are soft and the arms are as soft as a pillow.. I live in a condo so it looks pretty big in our living room but looks great! I’m glad I purchased it.”
